Raccoons Stanley Park

Mother raccoon with 2 kits in Vancouver's Stanley Park. When mom goes to investigate the garbage bins the kits follow her. One of the kits gets stuck inside and mom eventually comes to the rescue. Unfortunately I did not record the rescue, where the mother removes the kit from the bin by grabbing it in her mouth & hauling it out. Listen for the cries of the kit inside the garbage bin & the rustling sounds while it tries in vain to get out.
