I like the trinket anointment idea. To balance this, they could make them nontradable (to prevent duping (not necessary imo)) and once it’s equipped to a weapon, it can’t be unequipped.
I was thinking the same like a one time use deal if you use it wrong gotta farm another would balance out the getting what you want aspect imo.. but who are we but lowly players who know nothing 😭
The "exit iron bear" annoints work with cub. They turn into ASE. So when cub dies you get the annoint. I test the splash one and the shield one and those 2 work when cub dies. You can have cub kill itself to have revolter up almost all the time along with those "exit IB annoints" with full purple tree. Suicide cub build

I really wish Iron Bear/Cub was immune to his own Splash damage. Rockets (minus the Nuke) or the Explosive Minigun are far more dangerous for himself then the enemy.
IMO, I think the anointment system would work great with something akin to the enchantment system from Skyrim. Basically, you had to randomly find enchantments on different weapons/armor, and then you could destroy said item to apply that enchantment to pretty much any other piece of gear you wanted. The RNG made it annoying, but the ability to pick and choose what enchantments you want was HUGE

To fix your anointment suggestion, what if it was kinda like Diablo 4 where the charm anointment has a set amount of stats, but higher levels of difficulties and TVHM can raise the percentage of stat increasements. For example the charm is 15% normal mode mayhem 10 is 20%, TVHM is 30% and TVHM M10 is 45%
If you have different stats for the gun accessory like the weapons, shields, class mods and relics, it could be just as grindy as everything else in borderlands. Just another thing to farm on the list.

Yes to the trinkets. Make it so once equipped to a weapon, you have to use a machine in the hub map to change to, preventing swapping out mid boss fights for stacking them. This would be free, so it isn't hard to do
I have no idead how could you do this killersix, i have 900 hours playtimes with borderlands3, but i have no idea how could you play this game every single day and nog get sick of it. Some ppl would say its for new content, but i think it still is a hard work to get thorough with it

The way “After exiting IB” anointments work when you use IC is when your active skill ends you’ll still get the splash damage bonus.

Super Soldier + Phalanx Doctrine will let you be essentially immortal :)
My game theory is that by deleting your saves, you also reset the games internal troll gun seed, thus Linoge got replaced with Trybolt

Been Replaying Moze alongside this. Just hit lvl. 70 and scored a Boom Sickle at Villa Ultraviolet.
