    I am very impressed with the clarity of your video - can you send me a link for the video devices you are using? Thanks

      This is an old video where I was using bad equipment… actually the camera from the top is an Aukey webcam, the front camera is just the standard face webcam from a MacBook and the microscope had a really bad camera I believe it was 12MP…. In my latest videos I am using Godox studio lights, I am using iPhone 14 Pro for front cam, iPhone 12 mini for top cam and the microscope has a 48MP camera with a 0.48X RF4 Barlow lens

      Not from me, but there are several out there. Check Jesse Cruz from vcc board repair

      I am using UNI-T UT181a multimeter. It came with that software. For power supply, I am using Owon P4305 and the software for it is custom, I wrote it

      Please Which video is best for injecting voltage?

    • @dryjokes608
      @dryjokes608 Před 7 měsíci +1

      if I use rosin and use short killer is it the same for using injection process?

    • @mirceaalicu
      @mirceaalicu  Před 7 měsíci +1

      @@dryjokes608I don’t really know what a short killer is, I assume it is a power supply without OCP? And it’s purpose is to inject so much power that will eventually destroy the shorted component? If yes, I would advise against it as it may also burn the board layers under the faulty component. Easiest way doing voltage injection is finding the rail that is shorted and start injecting voltage with the power supply on that rail - start with low voltage and current then increase until you can notice the heat spots. Thermal camera is ideal because it spots heat areas using very small current like 10mA. If you use rosin, current needs to be higher as the melting point of rosin is quite high.
      It is important to not inject higher voltage than the rail is supposed to be. If it is a 3V line, don’t inject over 3 volts. If you don’t know what line it is, then don’t inject more than 0.9 volts
