There are many big rounds here and this Fiskars is the wrong implement to use. Get a sledgehammer and wedges to split the block in two for a start. Then use a big splitting maul (spalthammer) to do the rest of the splitting. There was a lot of energy used up here, for a small return. The man is fit and well capable of work, but you have to be economical with your effort.
Ну и зачем было 3 минуты валить хаотично? Явно когда инструмент есть а ума им работать нет! Надо было рубить на плашки только не радиально а сбоку и все шире, быстрее было бы. Я такие обычным топором рублю.

в нас куб дубових досок 25-30 тис. грн коштує. скільки дров можна купити за 2 куби дуба якщо машина газ 53 рубаних дров з акації 6 тис коштує? 😊 ~9- 10 машин. мені б на 10 років вистачило опалювати хату. всього лише за 2 куби дубових досок 1.5 м довжиною
I split the same size rounds with a screw splitter on the back of a vintage tractor, with that amount of rounds to split using that axe is a lot of energy expended, good workout though! I'm not sure this is a splitting maul, with a heavy splitting maul it would be a lot quicker and easier.
Thanks for the comment, I totally agree. It is a splitting maul, but, for this round too small. I only have app. 20 of these verfy big rounds, plus another ca. 80 of smaller ones.
@@raceworx46 I thought so , I have looked at those fiskars splitting axes, they are bit light, maybe OK on Ash or pine, but those were oak rounds I believe. Something a bit heavier would have given you good return for your physical effort.

Deine Fiskars kannst Du bald wegschmeißen, bei den Schlägen zum Schluß kamst Du immer mit dem Stiel auf das davorliegende Stück Holz. Das können diese Äxte nicht ab.

The easiest way to split a tree is when it is split tangentially, not radially.
Holz macht warm. Man muss es nicht einmal verheizen :-). Man sieht, dass er es nicht das erste Mal macht.
Ich liebe die Leute die richtig dickes Holz verbrennen. Die lassen mir das dünne. Und das ist gut so. 😂

Ich hab's so gemacht:rückwärts um die Scheibe rum,und immer außen Stücke abgeschlagen.geht viel schneller.

@@freelyfarmexploits8854 Yes, Oak, about 120cm diameter, ab out 35-40 cm thick... quite heavy, up to 200kg, not easy to handle if you´re alone...

Ich habe die gleiche Axt ,es ist nicht dafür gedacht auf Keile zu hauen.
Mit den Keilen fand wesentlich aufwendiger und vor allen Dingen lauter.
