I just got my sunflower from a friend they gave me the pot and the seeds were already in the soil and now its by my window and im not sure how long i need to water it for or how im just using a spray bottle and misting it on top every now and again im afraid im not doing it right this is my first real plant

But where are the actual grow details? I need to know the how much sun? How much water? When to move them? Sadly by the time I get the answer they'll be dead. For some miracle they grew 3 inches and now I don't know what to do? They're withering.
