I jumped on the other day for a much needed session and out of the 8 matches not one squad woulf do comms or play the game how its supposed to be played. But when you find a squad of good players its a whole new experience !
The other day I played and every game I was in was amazing.

Anyone that just got this game and sees this… Communication is a must!!!! Don’t be squad lead without a mic… don’t be Commander or engineer support without one either… you might be able to slide with a rifleman or possibly a medic without it if your good!!!!!
There are no excuses for anyone not using a mic for this. It's not for casual gamers, nor should it be.
There are excuses, not everyone can, there are language barriers, people play in same room as others sleeping etc but you are right though don't play certain roles of you can't talk

Yeah I had a lvl 4 take the officer role in our squad the other day, didn't have a mic, wouldn't put down OPs etc. I tried to ask him to jump twice if he knew how to put an op down or fire two shots if he didn't. Didn't do either 😕 . Was happy to run km's back to the point each time after dying. I would have been happy to talk him through if he listened but I think he just wanted to run and gun 🙄. Some people are willing to learn others aren't. It's soooo much more fun if everyone is on comms, makes the game more enjoyable and easier to succeed.

Got the game a few months ago was averaging 1-5 kills per match the got a 21 kill game and beat it yesterday with 31. So to new people wanting to get it, then get it but stick with it, it may be slow at first but will become the most fun game u can play
The thing that blows me away the most is that your game isn’t stuttering
It has the odd stutter here and there, think that's the world rebase issue but generally it's pretty good.
For me that’s gotten a lot better over the last month.

Hang in there man. Be patient. This is probably the hardest FPS I have ever played, however I have never had this much fun before.
the major problem that hell let loose faces is people and squads only go on full attack mode,not building any garrisons.
then the opposite team captures another bo and still then players would stay on attacking a locked bo

Hello. I've been playing for about half a year on xbox series s, the graphics are of course a little soapy. But I have a question. How do you see the enemy?! There is some kind of trick in this game to understand this, besides stomping, of course. Sometimes I can’t understand - where from???!!! How!!? Where? But you can directly feel where the enemy will come from! How is that? It doesn’t seem to be a special bottom of the graphics on xbox s, but I still can’t understand.
The Series S is 1080p, that's your issue. It's much easier at 1440p Or 4k put you need to upgrade for that.. alternatively you can get a monitor and sit close. Other than that, slow down, check the places the enemy is likely to be, move cover to cover and look for movement. Don't be the one caught moving. Stay with you squad and they will also spot enemies for you. Keep playing, keep learning, you will get there mate.
Try changing your FOV. mine was automatically set to the highest. Like 120 or something. I lowered and now the background is much bigger. It zooms it in more.
Smaller FOV and you see more, i play on Series X with a 85 FOV and it ist fine 👌🏼

Use a mic.. i play Squad Lead and will ask for a sound off, and if there is no reply, I just kick the guys not using comms. And I am not the only SL who will do that.. please use your comms new guys.

I guess squad is more like PR but HLL will give you the WW2 experience.

Ok so I'm a full blown battlefield player and I started playing this to try it out , the realism is great in this game but it seems a bit slow at first , like alot of walking just to be killed as soon as I get there lol maybe I just need to get use to it, but seems a good game 🎮
That’s the major complaint i hear from new players and there’s a very easy remedy: a Squad Leader that actively updates outposts. Because of the large influx of new players, a lot of ppl seem to not know that outposts (and garrisons) are the most vital part of the game. If there’s nobody setting up good spawns consistently, the game literally becomes a running sim

Other than snipers im convinced the m1 garand is the most superior rifle in the game at this point i always do amazing with it

I’m glad the game came out on gamepass for xbox. I play on PS5 and the servers were lowkey getting dead. Crossplay or not. Since gamepass the player count has gone up and so has the amount of people with mics. If you really play HLL you know mics make the game 10x more fun.

When i was new to the game, i took my time to watch tutorials after a match or two because I realized just how in over my head i was. Unfortunately literally nobody else seems to do that anymore

I’ve just bought this played a few games and I absolutely love it . The problem is no one talks or helps. I’ve watched loads of videos so I got a rough idea on how to play but without experienced players it’s a nightmare .any help would be greatly appreciated as I love the game
I’d suggest to just keep on trying to ask squad members for help. Sometimes you get no response. Other times there are players would are willing to help you.

It’s all about the process of learning man, it takes a while to learn the necessary playstyle. Try slowing down your movement and don’t give up!
Sesh is right. Slow down, play as a squad, play your role, use Comms, move cover to cover, flank when you can, keep playing, it's normal to die a lot
If you sneak around and use things like hedges as cover,you be surprised how many people run around making lots of noises.So they are easier to kill.

Im now ok with it to die 20-50x per round but i dont wanna go out of the battlecthe most times with 0 kills
The aim assist is rather slight even if u kick it up to high in the settings (which you CAN do, check to see if u have yet) The way to kill people in this game is to have superior positioning. If you can figure out where the enemy is coming from, move to a point where your gunfire will intercept them at an angle, so they arent facing you and have to find u in order to shoot back

I tried hll during free play. Basically one guy gets to be sniper and kills other team. Boring.
There are literally 99 other players in the game having a blast! This game is far from boring IMO.
The only reason u felt that way was because you probably didnt have a good squad leader giving u new spawns and pings on the enemy. The sniper is powerful in this game but they’re not the end all be all.
I played it on Xbox today. Why is it so fucking bad on Xbox, slow movements and bad graphics
I love it on Xbox, it's a slower FPS than usual due it's realism.

Fov is same here as my console gameplay which I believe is 90. Very much doubt the speed is different between the systems
@@ChrisTeeGaming I have it on PC and on PS5. You def run a little slower on the PS5 for sure. Plus its easier to aim when using a mouse on PC.

On console it's unwatchable. constant problems with crashes, lag,shots in full soldier that aren't registered and servers that suck. how is it possible to have 100/120 ms of ping on a European server? (I live in Italy, server in Germany). the only game where my ping is over 50ms. 💩
