      If I remember right a group of armed young men (nationalists) arrived to Odessa in multiple busses and pushed on a group of people that were peacefully protesting non-democratically elected government. The arrived group put the protestors inside a building, closed doors and lit the building on fire. Fire quickly climbed from the ground floor up. People were jumping from higher up windows to escape the fire. Ambulance and firefighters were fensed off half a street away and could not get to the building on purpose. The people that were burned down were ukraine citizens. However, ukraine nationalists called them to be pro-russian.

Anglo’s fought tooth and nail in the western front and northern africa, tides were already turning beginning of 1942 and it was abundantly clear during the spring that allied forces were gaining ground. Although i have respect for every soldier ready to risk their live no matter the cause, historically US warfare is not impressive especially considering their vast military prowess over the years. When it comes to modern warfare US hasn’t shown anything notable, just battling insurgents with a 100k/1 dollar ratio.

    This Kharkiv new front could be a simple maskirovka. The build of railway to the South is more serious obviously. In fact Crimea without the Kerch bridge could survive easily . It ‘s possible to see RUAF an attempt to cross the Dniepr and going to Nicolaeiv. Ukrainians are building multiple defense lines over there . To take Odessa oblast is the real cake for the Russians. This represents a big risk but a real way to beat Ukraine et NATO definitively.
    NATO are a severe fear to see that happen still this year and that’s explain the claim of Macron to send troops over there . This Russian strategy is probably well identified as a possibility and a catastrophic outcome for the West power. 😂

      The West has forgotten that war with an enemy who can shoot back inevitably means casualties due to their low-intensity neocolonial ventures. A quiet day in Vietnam brought more casualties than a decade in Afghanistan, a good day in WW2 easyily more than all of Iraq and Afghanistan combined.

    There's an important observation to be made here about concentration of forces. Up to this point in the war, concentrating forces has been extremely difficult as both sides have had extreme levels of awareness of what's going on from satellites, from planes and from drones. The fact that one side is now successfully massing near the front means the other side has lost the ability to promptly punish that formation which augurs poorly for the latter.

    I mean russia only wants to increase its troop strength near kharkiv to 50,000 to 70,000? Why not like 150,000 or at least 100,000 becuase you would need a lot of troops to take kharkiv city and taking kharkiv is very important.

    How vulnerable is the new railway line to the long range US missiles recently supplied to Ukraine?

    • @Nick-AngelpeodSeaxisc
      @Nick-AngelpeodSeaxisc Před měsícem +4

      Very, but to waste a one million dollar missile on a piece of track that would cost a couple of thousand and a few hours to repair would be really stupid.

      Not really an issue, I spent fifteen years working on UK railways and damaged sections of track can be repaired/replaced in days, sometimes hours.

    The Russians do not have the capacity at this time to take or hold Kharkov, those two Corps are mainly infantry and are lacking in the heavy equipment and mechanization needed for offensives. Instead they fixing and deterrent forces like the groupings in Belarus, too weak to act on their own but not so much so that Ukraine can ignore them and act mainly as sources of reserve and rotation for the formations in Ukraine proper.
    The main effort is still likely to be toward Pokrovsk as it is the main logistical hub, with continued efforts to take Chasiv Yar and pin forces at Kupyansk, setting up conditions to breach the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk-Konstantiniivka Line in the Winter, with Kharkov only being a realistic target for maybe Summer 2025.

    Concerning negotiations - there is no easy solution because any kind to ceasefire will result only in legitimization of Ukraine government and they will still try to do problems and recapture former territory. The only way is to carve piece by piece and let people in referendum vote either for neutral region or for joingin Russia. At the end there will be some neutral small regions on west and rest will join Russia.

    In this NATO -Russian war US will loose since it is the US that makes NATO whole …addition of Finland & Sweden complicates matters for the Stavka planners but is not decisive in the overall spectrum of force allocation & only will bring about bigger crush of NATO when the hammer blows are struck… At present time America is no match for the Russian army …. , a wise route would be a all encompassing conference in Belgrade / Serbia to create a roll-back of NATO to its 2000 borders …. ,or better yet disband NATO altogether and replace it with Pan-European security pact , with NATO booted out from the Yugoslav republics completely , there will be need to abolish Baltic Fascist regimes and re-establishment of neutrality ie. Finland / Sweden & Norway … This re-arrangements will necessitate radical remodelling of EU and its present ruling class would have to join Zelensky in Florida somewhere …Have a good day friends of mine & God bless everyone of you…..❤❤❤❤❤
