When I found out that you and your sister shut down the pixiwoo channel, I literally cried and got so emotional. You were the first channel I subscribed and o was so obsessed with your videos. The beauty community back then was so fun! It was professional and no place for any drama. I used to watch tutorials for hours and hours. I also appreciated my purchases and the makeup I owned more. Now I own so much and really expensive items but I don't get excited anymore. The excessive consumerism killed the excitement. I remember when I bought my first lipstick or blush by MAC oh my....I was so proud and happy. Lol. Now I own much more but it's not the same. But seeing you is great! I missed your vibe so much! Thank you for coming back! I grew up with you!
I watched every single Pixiwoo video, I made playlists, I wore one of Sam's looks for my master's finals. In fact, I bought stuff to recreate one of Nic's latest looks (a purple smoky eye), and before I got to it the video was gone. Also, back then MAC had a completely different vibe, the collections were super exciting. Now I maybe repurchase a staple or maybe an item or two from the Christmas collections because the rest is simply not as good as it used to be.
So did I.

Yes, when you finally become saturated with makeup (different for everyone), it's not as fun as it used to be, because you know you don't need anything. It takes the joy right out of deciding what to buy!

There's not many people who do these 'oldschool' makeup videos and I really miss them. I used to watch these videos for hours n hours on end absorbing the information and tips. I am thankful that you're doing these 💗

As you describe putting the eyeliner in your waterline and that’ll transfer a bit but it can be cleaned up…. I am reminded how good you are at teaching about makeup. So often now, it’s just product reviews. I feel so lucky that I learned makeup application from you and Sam! Thanks for coming back to teach the next generation!

You and your sister taught me how to properly do my makeup when i was 14. That’s when I really started playing with more than basic eye liner and lipgloss. The only reason my mom let me wear it so young was because i was actually learning to do it well and it was all thanks to you guys 💕 you guys were a big big reason I lived through my teens with so much confidence in myself. I’m 27 now, closing out my 20s and heading into my 30s 😅 Your videos on this channel really take me back to those years where I had such a fresh and blank mind where i was willing to learn from others. I kind of lost my love of makeup when the heavy (drag) makeup became super trendy and influencers were all catty and bratty but lately its been reignited and im sooooo happy you’re uploading again. Truly feels like home when I’m watching you do your makeup 😭!

Nic, I thought when you and Sam quit CZcams you had deleted all of your videos. I am so happy to see that you are back and your vids are still up😭 thank you for coming back, your brand and everything you stand for, I love. Still have my first edition RT brushes almost 10 years later, and they are good as new!!🤣 also love the natural, clean & fresh makeup that we don’t see enough of these days😊
Katie I have the original brushes and they 100% stand the test of time.. imagine lockdown.. ferociously organising an office quickly / make up room / dogs bedroom and had fiddly bits of glossing V wall and I used the brow brush.. no frog tape needed (I have since learned about frog tape) that brush is living it’s best life in my shed and I really regret grabbing it with a tin of paint in the moment.. saved me pure time as it’s precision ❤️and I often think 🤔 I should of not used that brush.. remembered I’m a ocd with really odd stuff like skirting board lines ..never dusted them since..

I feel like you guys started so many trends and had no credit for it, instagrammers and beauty “gurus” had the credit. Such as the real techniques silicon liner brush - all of a sudden every brand was ripping it off and coming out with silicon brushes that weren’t even technical such as a silicon blush brush ?! Then you guys showed soap brows with pears soap (which Hollywood films stars did and you guys taught us) the everyone else came out with brow soap for their brand. You taught us so much knowledge I didn’t even know how to do my makeup until I watched pixiwoo. Thanks for continuing on this channel nic 💞💞💞💞 sending love xx
