Totally agree with all of your points. Even a incident happened in Bangalore. Bulu bhai even uploaded a video regarding this. Avoid night riding as much as possible.
Thanks for the video. I like your accent and the way you articulate what you want to say. I am curious why you are riding at 4:00 am, though, and I was surprised to see as much activity as there was in your video at that time of the day. Regarding the situations you mentioned, I would imagine some of them depend on the country you are in. I think night riding challenges can vary depending on where in the world you live. I know around here, you can have animals jumping out on the road, which can definitely end badly. Also, if there's a lot of traffic, vehicles will (not) see you, as they are looking for other cars/trucks, that have 2 lights and a big vehicle body. Being a motorcyclist, with 1 headlight, and small size - you will blend-in to all the other lights that those drivers have to deal with. Effectively, you become almost invisible to them, in an ocean of other headlights. Maybe riding at 4am is the solution - a lot less traffic at that time ! 🙂
Biggest hazard is vehicles carrying steel bars at night, really blind to the eye. Mostly by e-rickshaw and pickups carrying bars hanging from their roof.
In my experience, riding ~20kmph faster than the traffic helps alot. Similarly, if you ride around 90+, then most trucks and buses can never rear end you.
Along with two wheelers even rule following vehicle drivers are at risk anna. In Hyderabad if the signal is red after 01:00AM no one follows it, they jump red signals left and right. If you are stopping for a red light best you keep to extreme right /left side. Also another thing to lookout for is wrong side/way drivers and riders.
These are the some the things I am following from past few years. I don’t give lift to anyone even inside city area, any of my bike has extra fog light because I don’t ride during night time. Carrying some self security stuffs along with me to handle some worst conditions.
Just found your videos really good advice and As a American i wish you guys had some of are gun laws i believe every good human just trying to live should have the right to protect themselves and there family like you said 3 agents 1 can be deadly and it's not right

Very useful info Vikas. All points are true. We must be extra cautious at odd hours of the night/early mornings.
