@@ItsTrainBoy Retrobrite does work but only temporary. You are fighting age rot of a plastic that never was intended to last (it has no stabilizing agents). Nobody has yet known how to seal it to stop it rotting as it is the binders in the plastic de-materializing and not any environmental factors (bit those can accelerate the process). Your best bet would be eventually 3d-printing replacement faces out of modern materials.
When I saw that Flora and Whiff my eyes and mouth went wide open. That is truly amazing. I have never seen a old item in such good condition and the fact Flora’s box wasn’t even damaged a single bit amazed me.
Damn I had some of those. I lost all of my tomy/track master to a flood in feb 2022. Didn’t even get a chance to go through it. My family just threw it out before I got to go back. I could’ve cleaned it up too, still hurts

It is a blessing to be able to expand your collection more and more. I congratulate you.
I remember the same feeling of getting a Whiff but I was much younger, it was Christmas 2010 and it was one of the first things handed to me, I could tell it was a Thomas toy but I didn't know which one, I opened up and as my parents described my face lit up as I had a train that was like me (I much like Whiff wear glasses) and it was just a nice feeling
Did any one else ever accidentally put the batteries in Whiff the wrong way and he went backwards! Ours did and still does to this day. Sir of this video I would really like to meet and talk about all of this Thomas toys with you. My grandparents got mostly me but me and brothers Tomy/trackmaster and still have every piece of the collection they got, just being stored in their garage, my parents got us wooden railway and we still have majority of it. I'm in North Alabama.

You're living the dream, man! I still have a bunch of Trackmaster stuff, your videos really inspire me to take them out and dust them off every once in a while. With some yellowed plastics, it is possible to restore them with a retrobright box. I don't know if it works with Trackmaster, but it works with old game consoles, and from what I've seen, it leaves the paint intact.
Rosie reminds me of my cats, Oliver and Pepper. They always love to help with layout building and video filming. Pepper helped with my most recent wooden railway layout tour video, Rosie is so adorable!
I own a steam along Thomas with Annie and clarabel. and on December 24th I replaced its Cassie, with a Thomas with angry face. with the painted running board it can still steam! Now it has two motors and is faster then my gordan. It’s with my little brother he loves it :)
Sun damage is reversible on plastic if you get a clear tub or a clear bucket and set the items (Jeremy jet plane for example) in the bucket and fill the bucket it will remove most if not all sun damage. You should try it on the super sun burnt Jeremy jet plane and make a video about it!

I think the railyard was a european exlusive, but I've seen one pop up for sale from a US seller. I only remember seeing the Toby at the Copper Mine set at train shows and small toy stores, and I don't recall seeing the Calling All Engines set in stores back in the day.

TBH, i didn't really have a lot of trackmaster/tomy stuff growing up. i liked Geotrax better, and i still don't know why. maybe because in had more, so i wanted to exapand my layout lol. Also, Rosie is Irresistibly adorable.
