    get your facts right, buddy:
    Kawasaki H2R 1000cc: 144nm
..and yes maybe compared to the likes of the ZX10 it does have 30 per cent more nm of torque BUT as anyone who knows anything about bikes will know, twin cylinder big bore machines have masses of torque right from the get-go, so comparing a 4 cylinder engine to a 2 cylinder is absurd. For example: the 1299 Panigale which is also a twin cylinder machine, has the same numbers for torque: 133nm.
Difference between the Panigale and the other litre bikes and this sorry excuse for a "super naked" Ktm, is that the Panigale and the other superbikes bhp and nm's are all usable thanks to masses of sophisticated electronics honed on the race track, the KTM as we all know are allergic to race tracks because they don't want to face facts that compared to other marques, they are pretty crap...as well all saw with the failure of if a bike which was the RC8.
So they give you a machine like this "Super" Duke which is basically stupidly overpowered for what it is, when even Valentino Rossi would have a hard time to get even 60 per cent of its maximum performance out of the machine so essentially you have a slow bike and you pay through the nose for this as KTM's are all massively overpriced and they only come in crappy vomit-inducing colours.
So yeah..what a piece of crap..much better bikes out there. Ask Charlie Boorman. ;)

      The H2R is not overpriced?
Ask Charlie Boorman??? (he has won lots of races lol)
      Ask Jeremy Mcwilliams you mean?

H2R is track only, can not be registered so why compare it? you do realize KTM dominate moto 3? and they are currently building a motoGP bike...just because you can't afford a nice bike doesn't mean you should crap on it. it won bike of the year twice world wide....SO GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT COCKHEAD!

HA well said MrKdr500, most people that put shit on the 1290 Superduke have not even ridden one (more than likely wont get to own one) & are just regurgitating useless reviews by suit wearing idiots that cant even ride
Checkout Lukey Luke Stunts & Angus Reekie Motorsports (both on facebook) to name a few Aussies racing the Superduke

hahaha you are so wrong sir ! only thing i can agree is that you can't compare a 4 cylinder engine to a 2 cylinder. i own this beast and it is the most amazing bike i EVER ridden... it is the fastest stock bike on the market from 0-200km/h it is the ultimate combo of a superbike and a supermoto mixed together. I LOVE IT ! wheelies, drifts, top speed,... it has it all !!!!! if you don't like the collars than don't brake this bike of like you did ... and belief you me it doesn't have as much power as vale's bike hahaha; it is controllable ! i never ride with traction control on. maybe the electronics could be better but i never use them so i am happy that the bike isn't more expensive due all the electronic crap on all the new bikes these days.
