I remember I used to live with my cousin and he was a fan of the beatles. He was studying to be a lawyer. Always thick books around him and this music. This was my first apporach with the language. He used to teach me a lot of things. We played almost every night with those cards from yugi-oh. He lives in Spain now and I'm just sitting here thinking about those memories.

This really captures the nostalgia of The Beatles being inherited from one generation to the next. I can hear my grandparents and aunt as if they're still alive. I can hear my dad safe at home with them as a little boy. I can hear me as a little boy having these records carved into my memory. I hear my children singing along with their little voices changing and aging so rapidly. The people and places that aren't anymore are in this. My lineage yet to be are here. They are all in the same room, meeting and greeting and entangled with one another, without ever knowing each other or breathing the same air. This haunts me and helps me move on at the same time. I'm so sappy. Thank you for this.
