I have always been in Love with the Moomal of Kaak as Bhittai expressed her and grew up imagining her and We're so happy that we chose to sing this Lore. Love ❤️

I am lucky to understand Urdu, Punjabi and Sindhi languages. The real essence cannot be captured by translation esp, the language used by Shah Latif Bhittai in his Rasalo.
These are languages are different flowers with so many different fragrances and nuances that only the linguistic can appreciate. Kudos to CK

Finally something that befits the level of Coke Studio.. behtareen... the only song from this season after Shikwa Jawab e Shikwa that’s gonna end up in my playlist... love the folk vibes, and especially the folk singer with the ektara type instrument and khartaal.. he has terrific vocal range. Also the flute at the beginning and in the end just melted my heart. At places, this composition sounds so similar to Bengali folk music (especially the flute parts), which is also very close to my heart. Love from Canada!

Always wondered why there aren't many sindhi coke studio masterpieces even tho sindhi always had lovely poetry. May be we get to see sindhi songs frequently in coke studio from now on. Shah sahab has alone given us so many Kalams that there could be a sindhi coke studio kalam in every season in many coming years, besides there are so many other sufis. Saif have sung this one beautifully, Makes me feel proud of my existence , my heritage. Hope there will be many more kalams in future.

The fame of the story is ascribed to Ganj or Shah Jo Risalo; the poetry book Shah Abdul Latif Bhitta.
Taken from the journal of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, which is around 300 years old, the track aims to show the complicated side of desire and the pain of seperation, all of which help to capture the pure essence of Sindhi folk music. :)

And that muskiness in his voice is so deep and fascinating, with such season going on, his voice could alone lift the episode 4, and I am right in so, whole season. Artists such as him, can lift any below/average program to their best. He reminded me of the good times CS saw in its formation year and his appearance back in the Rohail days. A well done job.
