This series aims to show the best vehicles to use in GTA Online in a racing situation. That is, around a regular circuit with a mix of corners and straights. The word "Fastest" means nothing without some context - these are the fastest vehicles around a circuit. How Lap Times Were Obtained Accurately
The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

I recommend reading this for anyone who is confused, interested, or doubts the validity of the results in this video as it explains in great detail the extent to which these results will be useful for you personally, in addition to linking the track used for your own testing/comparison.*
So with that all being said, this video should be taken as a guideline. The testing is very accurate for this track and similar tracks when cars are driven close to the maximum. At the very least you should be able to use this testing help narrow your field of view for your own personal testing. I would always recommend testing a variety of cars yourself and take into account what kind of tracks you're racing on, what is better for you and your skill level, and even your budget. My testing is meant to guide you, not tell you exactly what to use in every situation.

With the S 95 if you stock suspension and you don’t use any of the special tuning for power it handles a lot better just do what you can normally do an LS customs and handles a lot better as long as you don’t touch suspension and you can do the transmission work he has

It's so strange to see the HSW banshee make the pariah's top speed look slow on the back straight lol
I also was shocked by this seeing it lose so much time around the lap then pop back up on the back straight XD
I agree that HSW treatment provided more cars to be competitive among some classes but it was kind of a bummer that Rockstar gave such treatment to the Turismo classic which was already the king of the sport classics. Much appreciation to Broughy who is constantly providing comprehensive tests of all the new vehicles ! 🥇🏅🏆

Good old rockstar. Having a car with a gun being the fastest super car. I don't think they really care about car performance anymore. They just churn out cars and just give it randomised performance with a high price. No matter how good or bad it is.
Whatever chimp they have programming the cars probably judges what the performance should be by the name of the car instead of actually seeing them
When did they ever? I mean they had a Bugatti Veyron doing ONLY 130mph back in 2013.

that Hahacouchicu Drag HSW is just a great way to see just how far you can launch your character
not very far, cuz they didn't revert the ragdoll physics back to gta iv levels so you still just pathetically slap and stick to the first thing you hit like one of those stretchy hand toys instead of doing the fun bouncing and rolling and skidding around like the days of olde.

I feel like there’s a lot of missed opportunity with these HSW cars added. I would personally like to see a car like the Ocelot Lynx get such treatment. It’s such a good looking car, but it’s underwhelming in the power. If it were to match the same power as the Sentinel with HSW then honestly I’d be fine with that.

So the big question for me, is what if Rock star decides/allows us to Mod F1 class cars on HSW? How fast will the BR8 go?
The HSW upgrades is a nice addition, damn these are quick!
Part of me wants to say that I wanna see these upgrades for quite a bunch of cars to see if anything can reach actual realistic top speeds (because that would be really fun), but I’m not sure if that should happen for balancing sake
I would really like to see a Comet (any version except, like, Safari) HSW though… or an Infernus HSW. Or maybe something for one of the broken advanced handling files cars?

Hi Bruff, first of all, fantastic video, and you are so quick to test all these vehicles already, props to you! Quick question: does the hsw suspension have any effect on the performance of these vehicles? For me it felt like the hsw suspension gave the hsw vehicles more understeer than let’s say the middle suspension option.
HSW suspension has no special effect,. it's just an extension on the existing suspension upgrades

@@eser1985 He said middle suspension gives the best lap time unless he otherwise states that it’s the HSW. Would be cool if he showed us his upgrades on each vehicle he tests so we know what to add. I’m still unsure if armor hurts performance. I feel like the HSW Banshee is too heavy since I added armor.

I think there should be testing on a wide range of tracks but only with the top contenders in the classes

The Ignis is such a joy to drive, easy with all the grip, looks ugly with the gun though, so not sad that im missing out on it as a second class PC player.

Okay so (I only tried this with the hsw s95) when I drive the car out of the garage, for whatever reason the car is slower. When you drive back in the garage and the cars stats are lowered versus before the car was driven out of the garage. But when I call my mechanic and have it delivered to me the cars stats and performance are back to the way they are supposed to be. I’m 100% sure btw.
Might not get a next gen console for a few years yet but I still love these lap videos

I never knew the oppressor mk1 was the fastest land vehicle to do this circuit and it's faster than the mk2! I don't own the mk2 out of principle but I figured it could just do top speed the whole lap despite having a lower top speed than the mk1

Hakochu drag is real life Suzuki Hayabusa but has added aftermarket turbo tuning and a long wheelbase. They should make more bikes based on real life bikes like Yamaha R1, BMW S1000RR, Honda Fireblade etc.

Please make a Sentinel XS HSW vs Previon analysis please. I’m curious to know what the better coupe is, and the lap and top speed tests don’t always give the complete picture.
it will be case by case so the testing videos give sufficient info for which is better when: Previon for technical tracks, Sentinel for top speed tracks

So I noticed the damage model for the Karin S95 is the same as the OG vehicles where it can get very compressed. Is this the case for all the new vehicles?
they’ve been testing this in the previous DLC too, pay attention to the Buffalo STX, it also has the same deformation as the O.G cars (although that could be down to it bring based on the Buffalo S)

Not the Briosso 300, but the Briosso R/A. But yeah, that would challenge the Club, although I’d still pick the Club even if it’s slower than the HSW Briosso simply because the Briosso is so difficult to drive at the limit.
Why is there such a glitch on the shadows of the cars? I picked it up on the first day and it’s really putting me off, and I can’t find help till seeing this today
Rockstar gave the HSW treatment to the wrong Turismo. The Turismo R would of been perfect for the extra upgrades.
That Turismo was always my favorite grippy super car back in the days. Insane corner handling. I guess we have some time untill that upgrade comes….GTA 6 have to wait..
Which suspension should I use on HSW Cyclone 2?

If you get a race with HSW disabled, do you have to have a second fully custom non HSW car or will my HSW one be usable where it just reverts the stats from the HSW to the highest non HSW? I don't want to upgrade if it means I will have to have a duplicate car every time the race has HSW disabled...

The uncanny resemblance of the Arbiter GT to the Vamos is such an insult to injury 'cause I quite like both muscle cars' design...
And mildly interesting that the non-HSW Astron Custom is slower than the regular, but I guess that's needed when taking the HSW upgrades into account.
Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed they made the GTO so bad, it's just a waste of a good design
I think the whole top speed vs traction point becomes a little moot considering how much faster these cars are (in a straight line) than literally all other cars in the game.
Not really, considering the Banshee is nearly 20mph faster for top speed than the Pariah but still can't beat it around the track. Same for the S95 being nearly 30mph faster for top speed than the Itali. Their top speeds get them in that position, but their lack of grip in comparison is what balances it.

pick the car for the track. on a stunt race without many corners it may be faster but on a city race it wont. acceleration is also a factor if you get spun out
But the 2 super cars, turismo and hakuchou drag with the upgrades aren’t insane outliers? I get they were already good cars but each one is at least 3 seconds better than their original version.

Other than the Drag they are garbage. The brakes & handling are absolutely awful. I preferred the Weaponized Ignus before the HSW upgrade.

I would've loved an HSW classic cheetah instead of the turismo, maybe next time
