Rob Burgess heads to Linear Fisheries Oxlease Lake for a late summer 48hr session. Back in February 2014 Rob caught his first ever UK 40lb mirror from the venue, so he had high hopes for another successful session.
Robs opening tactics included fishing solid bags from a central area of the lake and topping up the spots with a good helping of maize, hemp and tigers. With the traps set and as the storm edged closer, it wasn’t long before the bites started.
A 22lb+ mirror was a great start for the first night and after repeating his previous days success more carp were banked the following evening.
