I actually met Bassotronics once in real life back in 2011 when I was competing in car audio... dude made some awesome tracks, none quite as epic as this one tho. this one made it to the Bass Mekaniks cd's
The most insane bass I have experienced was a 6xdouble 18” and a 4xdouble10” W horn setup that was capable of more than 140dB. My vision got blurred up, I drifted around on the dance floor because the vibrations propelled my shoes and when turning the volume back down my body was a nerve wreck. I wore hearing protection but just by opening my mouth the soundwaves went the wong way to my ears trough the eustachian tube.
A couple of years ago a load of us threw a NYE party in a huge abandoned nuclear bunker in London. It was about 10 flights down but we got a full sound system and lazers down there. Hearing the bass travel around the massive network of tunnels was quite fascinating!
@@antonmanu5817 Yeah it was pretty cool, about 150 of us having a massive rave 100ft 30M under London while everyone is completely oblivious above! Haha We had a full sound system with bass bins, decks, lazers and lights, smoke and a projector all running off of leisure batteries and inverters. Even had some fireworks at midnight! 😁 When the music was off, you could even hear the tube trains running echoing above at certain parts in the early hours of the morning
In college (30 years ago :D ) our instructor had these things he called sweet 16's. They were 2 boxes of a 4x4 grid of 4" speakers. They acted like a huge bass speaker. Well a friend brought in a pre-amp and we hooked up 2 of the amplifiers we made in class (solderless breadboards) for left and right channels. Output stage was a large transistor (forget the wattage - maybe only 60 watts?) with a couple of 200,000 microF capacitors. Plugged in the frequency generator and I flipped on the system and it took me about 2 seconds to find the resonating frequency of the entire physics wing. Teacher comes bursting out of his office while the ceiling tiles are rattling. Classes from the down the hall were coming down wondering WTF? Even the windows were shaking. Teacher was genuinely amused by our antics but not happy that we basically stopped all the classes on that end of the building. :)

@boerkuhjah if you play music on your phone, put the phone into a cup or vase. makes the sound better. putting a subwoofer into a sewer is the same, just on another scale
In theory? If you get the frequency to match the pipe’s natural frequency it could carry indefinitely. Fun fact, Elephants use a similar method for communication across _miles_ of empty land.
@@chriswedemann8599 ive seen that in a documentary, about Elephants producing a bass signal through their feet into the ground that is then detected by the males. Cool as fkk. Shield bugs use vibrations through the plants in a similar way
Now imagine doing it somewhere where houses or apartments are close together and use a common drain sewer for both building and storm drainage. If it were done late at night, people would wonder why music is coming from their bathroom or kitchen sink. (Sound carries a lot more through things like metal pipes and such.)
