I never realized how bad it was for Jeff until I watched this. I am appalled at the fact that David isn’t getting any REAL consequences for what happened to Jeff. I hope Jeff gets justice soon with whatever he has planned. People like David will have their downfall one way or another
David has a track record of being a terrible person. I used to listen his podcast because I was a fan like YEARS ago and he said so much shitty stuff and you could tell just tell the type of person he was.
Well, pardon me for possibly sounding arrogant or self righteous, but it was objectively obvious. Multiple surgeries, all his fake friends excommunicated him, he had no direction in his creative process as he had to deal with a new reality of his, full of trauma and unresolved may I add, literally survival mode and a very complex one, he had a near death experience that changed his functional self forever and it was caused by who he considered as a true friend and a person that he thought being partly responsible for his success. He was overwhelmed, sick, physically and emotionally, heavily medicated,m after being sober for so long, alone, confused, heartbroken and I can go on and on.

This is the first video with Jeff I’ve ever watched. Never watched the vlog squad, and only knew vague details from media; there was an accident, Dobrik said he’d cover hospital bills, but refused to when the time came, so Jeff was forced to sue. That’s all I knew.
Personally, it’s not that I ever doubted Jeff - I have no love for Dobrik to blind me - it’s just not a side of CZcams that I follow.
LORE: Jeff frequently wears sunglasses because he gets insecure about his eye and people commenting on it jokingly or in a mean way and when Trisha made him comfortable and said it looks great he took them off! We love a safe space Just Trish! And Jeff looks awesome:)

To be gaslit during such a vulnerable time of your mental state and recovery must have been so hard. I'm sorry you went through that Trish. I have BPD, and I know how hard it is. I also know just how much guilt we can carry from our actions when we act out of emotion/crisis. and I know we blame everything on ourselves because of it. We must be crazy if people are telling us we are. I know what it's like to feel like it's easier to just take accountability for everything. I lost my entire support system and friend group, and I was blamed for it all, and I took that blame. I'm not where you are, but I hope to one day be. You show me that things can get better.
I just wish I met the love of my life after growing a bit, like you did. I met him very young (16) and as a result of my mental health issues, I lost him. We were together for almost 7 years. It feels like I've lost a part of me.

This episode is truly heartbreaking I can’t even imagine having your life trajectory completely derailed and the perpetrator just walking away from it as if they had no part in it. Truly hope Jeff gets justice because how do you ever heal from something that will follow you for the rest of your life

It sucks hearing Jeff say “it was tough losing all of those real friends” and I know he’s keeping the peace, but if they were his real friends, they would’ve stuck around after the eye injury, and they would support him not just come say hi, and make small talk at the gym or when they bump into him… he deserves the ride or die friends. Like Tana and his friends who surround him now and still.

I honestly hope the Jeff and David lawsuit goes to trial and is all recorded live on video. The amount of information that would come out, I bet would be crazy. Also it would be very interesting to see and no secrets could be hidden after that. I mean yes, lots of people who look up to influencers will probably be upset because they will find out who all these people really are.
And to see real David would be interesting
Jeff has a really strong case, especially since David paid for so many of his hospital bills, that shows that David felt guilty and believed it was his fault

I’ve never really been a fan of David only ever found out about it when I heard about the Jeff situation and I’ve watched some of David’s content and to me he just comes across really fake. Whenever I watch Jeff’s content he just seems like such a genuine person and is actually interesting.

@@SerenaLaturnas no he did pay for a good amount. Jeff never went into debt, he got an infraction on his credit because david was late on paying some of them.
seeing jeff go through all of the healing was so inspirational i was SA and it is helping me in my own experience, (being gaslight and victim blamed). i realized that i am not crazy!
I can’t wait to see Jeff destroy David in court. I know he will, we all saw the video. It had me in tears! Even when Jeff dropped that video where he finally stopped being loyal to the cult that is the vlog squad, I could feel his pain in his voice. It’s so clear they tried to manipulate the situation and cover their asses. I can’t stand the Vlog Squad! Natalie just seems like a cold hearted little minion of David’s. She always felt off to me, I never really watched the videos but my husband used to. I always got a weird vibe, and I can only imagine what went on behind the scenes. It pisses me off when Jeff said they were trying to make his videos line up with whatever narrative they were trying to spin. SO glad he’s not around those toxic fake assholes anymore!
And I will say benzos are actually a pretty scary drug. I’m in recovery from opiates (just about 5 years clean, I never used a needle but know people who did) but with Xanax and other benzos, if you go into intense enough withdrawals, you can possibly die from seizures or even cardiac arrest. Same with alcohol. A friend in recovery almost died when she was detoxing from booze, it’s so scary. They have to detox you with more benzos and it’s very specific in rehab, they have to be really careful weaning you off and you have to be honest about how much you use so they can do so properly. With opiates you want to die, and of course that happens from overdoses every day. But with benzos or alcohol you really could die from withdrawing, that’s what’s so scary to me. So glad Jeff and Tana aren’t doing that shit anymore! I love seeing them together, they’re so cute and I love they have a real solid friendship. And absolutely love this trio. Such a great episode! Super excited for what’s to come with you three ❤
Jeff came from nothing. So did Tana. They both have been able to be real and “normal” even after fame. They would make an AMAZING couple. He’s the aggressive moral compass she needs. She’s the real, genuine he needs. It’s really a match made in heaven.

TBH Jeff is really talented. I knew Jeff before VS because he'd dated a celebrity I liked and I was so confused when he started hanging with them, cause I thought he was so much funnier and Davids stuff always seemed so forced and unfunny to me. I am really glad he got out and wish him the best in his court case.
