It becomes difficult for law enforcement agencies to protect people because of so much red tape, non-cooperation, and so many other problems. Meanwhile evil people have nothing stopping them. This could happen to anyone. I wish we could do something about all this to keep each other safer.
A lot of that red tape is there to protect people. It's the job of the police to protect people from criminals, and it's the job of law's, regulation's, sop's etc. to protect people from the police.
