The game boy camera was the first camera I owned and I freaking loved that thing. 23 years later and I do photography professionally so that toy literally changed my life lol.
As a 90's kid, I saw the Game Boy Camera I'm the thumbnail, and I've never clicked so fast!!! I still have mine, it's green!! Back then the features in it were way beyond a typical digital camera in that price range. And it's got so many hidden games and features, I still sometimes hook mine up and play it at times. It's very unique.
The bygone days of Game Boy, with all the wacky peripherals and weird games 😭

I had a Armatron as a kid and I loved it. I forgot all about it until this episode! I remember playing with my GI Joes and having the villains use it as their evil weapon!

The thing with the printer in my opinion is it doesn’t use ink! If you get the paper you can basically always print something without having to rely on thousand dollar ink. Of course the quality and size are lacking but if they brought it back bigger it’d be a game changer
I actually bought something similar online recently called "pooli". It connects to yoir phone and instantly prints photos and notes on that kind of paper. You can buy a roll with adhesive on the back too

They have thermal printers you can buy that will print from your phone. The downside is heat and time will fade the ‘ink’.

I remember a kid from my school had the GameBoy camera and it didn't seem real it was sooo advanced for that time. I remember thinking there was no way I could ever have anything resembling it.

Armatron was by far the coolest toy I ever had as a kid. Don't mash buttons and learn the controls. In the coming age of robots and remote controls, this toy was ahead of it's time.
