To see the 14 year old girl from doing RWBY music to now having her own band and her very own single come out makes me tear up. It makes me joyful to see that her hard work, dedication, and doing what she loves best and her dream is finally coming true. She is going to blossom and just go straight up (in a good way) into the air. We love you so much Casey, and I hope your future is going to be amazing! And thank you Flynt for providing lyrics so I know what I need to say to sing along to, it will be an amazing experience for me to see how she is going to be from now on, just because this song is AMAZING and so will other songs that she makes. :)

She sang in Bye Nikki Bye (a song from RT's The Strangerhood, a sims 2 comedy machinima series) when she was six, then returned for Red vs. Blue at the age of twelve (she sang the soprano part in Carolina's theme), then RWBY started up when she was 13.
She's lived a life full of singing.

This started to play on Spotify and I was like this sounds so much like Casey and the music sounds something from RWBY definitely the part that had just the music playing. I was so confused. I CANT BELIEVE SHE IS SO INDEPENDENT NOW. I’m so proud of her!

WolfOfSolace I know they do need to get permission to use, which is what I meant. Which I’m sure they could get but as of now they’d need to get it rather than just use the song

Casey just has a voice for metal. The way she can elongate notes and go all out on others reminds me a lot of Chris Cornell of Soundgarden (god rest his soul). In fact, her emphasis on philosophical lyrics and the type of songs she sings are lot like Cornell's material, but different enough in presentation to give Casey and her band individuality. Producers may overhype artists like JB, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, and others, but it's artists like Casey Lee Williams and the rest of OK Goodnight that really ought to be appreciated more. To anyone who should find this comment, I cannot stress this more: give OK Goodnight a chance, and you will not be disappointed!

Reminds me a lot of Kevin Sherwood and Elena Siegman but with less screaming, agressive feeling and lyrics about death since there are no nazi zombies here...
