I gave pirates a corrupted nanoforge, they ended up constantly fighting the persians and causing instability for themselves which made me profit off their suffering
was literally just messing with installing one of these heat lamps on a fresh planet of mine, getting frustrated with the volatile cost, and went to look something entirely different up when your video comes just at the right time you are a LIFESAVER i was abt to go into so much debt tryna get this thing to work for me but you flipped the script and shit is PRINTING money 👑
Amen brother! That's bad ass. Why screw yourself for measly gains when you can screw another for phat stacks!
I see you graduated from the Nestle school of business
😈 make their own supply unusable and inefficient all while selling them the source of life they need!
Nestle is a good teacher. Tap is the new natural spring.
So its way better to do this with your own planets that both have commerce industries. Ones got a plasma dynamo the other has the OFL. if you use an alpha core you can increase the production right before you buy then take it back to get an even better deal. This also works with Cryorevival Facilities they use 10 organics.
So you can screw yourself over for big profit lol. That's awesome. Great cheesey strat you got.
Omg, I played this game for so long but never noticed that AI actually uses Items you sell... I think that they use blueprints tho, so, always fun selling pirates high grade weapons and ship templates
Oh yeah! Just gotta make sure its sold to the right planet. Give the pirates a pristine nano forge along with those blueprints next time lol
I usually sell them to independents, because I don't wanna hafta fight stronger pirates, but I guess if you wanna farm them for their ships and weapons it wudn't hurt.
The trick now is to grab a lamp, go meet Kanta, ask for no more pirate raids on your colonies, offer the lamp. Now your colonies are free of pirate attacks, you get more accessibility, Kanta's Den buys volatiles for up to 600c per (2K deficit), and you can permanently use the Den's black market to sell them
_and_ sometimes a trader at the Den will offer even more for a set amount of volatiles.
Huh, I didn't know the AI would use these items if sold. I learnt something new today.
@@PapaCheddar that just gives me idea to create a hell of a pirate faction by giving em faction blueprints....
You can set this up more efficiently by granting a colony to another faction, selling them the fusion lamp and going to your colony in the same system to acquire the volatiles they need.
You'd need to use the nexerelin mod. But this is only needed for transferring your colony to another faction. You can disable other aspects of the mod such as faction expansion and invasion between hostile NPC colonies to limit the changes to be only what's required to make this deficient more efficient.
Also there are mods that adds a colony courier service to transport resources between colonies. I've not used this aspect of that mod much but it does allow to set requests for any faction export/import. Maybe useful for automating this tactic? Idk but worth a mention.
That's a nice crafty addition! I like the way you think 😂 only thing better than a scam is an automated scam
Plasma Dynamo increase Volatile production by 3. If you are an asshole, it is possible to have a colony with a Plasma Dynamo, in the same sector as someone who desperately has a Fusion Lamp.
Just saying.
Another guy suggested this too. Having commerce on both then doing the self screw for big bucks lol.
What are our citizens if not money printers? 😅
You know you're in trouble when your horoscope warns you to avoid all human interaction for the day.
How about raid Nachiteka and Sindaria, take away their Synchrotron cores, then install one of those cores into your own fuel production. Become the oil baron of the sector.
man you convinced me to subscribe that editing is fire I got to learn how to do that so dame funny my man.
Usually i just disrupt the luddic paths and magec pirates space ports and sell them fuel and supplies from a way station
Where could we get the blueprint for the orbital fusion lamp? Or where could i just get one in general?
Its been a while for me, so I'm 80% sure haha. But i believe if you just go exploring and find loot caches and old stations, etc. you will eventually find one.
Does selling nano forges work the same way?! I never tried that
Sure does lol. Can boost up a factions fleets. Just make sure you sell it on their planet with heavy industry (pretty sure its that one)
If you sell it to a world with the wrong industry that can't use it, I don't believe it'll transfer to the correct world.
You can also sell blueprints of capital ships (like XIV Paragon etc.) to pirates aaaand see what happenes.
😂 true that. Im planning a make pirates op type of video soon. Going to employ both these tactics lol.
Why not raid the lamp back wait a month then repeat
Hell yeah. Doesn't fuck up the rep or have them attack on sight or nothing? Repeatable?
yet another example of why Alex should have just let us have size 9 colonies instead of doing this dumb shit with items
Yeeeeaaaaah. The items are cool, they can add some pizzaz and gives you something to work towards. But I don't like how colonies are capped. Should be an option to allow mega colonies that you can keep building up. I mean, its a sandbox game right? Let us have a massive sand castle!
I see what hes going for though. Trying to entice the player to have multiple planets/systems and have an empire. But if you get boned with rng and have shit planets you're kinda screwed.
Is this gas lighting factions into defecits so we can profit? Maybeeee?
What other items do you cats know of where something similar works?
There's also Hypershunt Tap that adds another 10 transplutonics demand. It also needs a Coronal Hypershunt in 10 LY proximity, so it's pretty tricky to pull off.
But imagine the outcome!
On the other hand, there's Catalytic Core that increases transplutonics production by 3 units. That is, because you need to buy them somewhere to sell them somewhere else, right?
Shoot, I didn't even consider the hypershunt... Thats some evil genius level stuff haha. Kind of want to try that.
