- Pyschic Blocks are something that I come across on a regular basis when teaching witchcraft. They are completely annoying and although often put on by necessity, I have never found a witch who needed it now. Word to the wise though, they are not put on by people who want to curse you or harm you with witchcraft in any way, because that would have the opposite effect, as there is an element of protection involved with psychic blocks. I find that people often cry with relief when I remove them, but it is not a one spell fits all policy so I can only show you here what the main method I use to take off a psychic block is. It may or may not work for you, you might need something different - however If you do think that you are suffering under one, do come and see me.

Do you also do Egg cleanses to remove psychic blocks. This is a very common practice in Appalachia in the States. The practioner should put a red string or yarn on their dominant hand if they are cleansing themselves. You take a white egg and you prepare it with a smoke cleanse and smoke cleanse yourself. You rub the egg all over your body and where you feel tension is when the psychic block is being taken into the egg. You blow on the egg three times and crack it into a glass, then you read the egg. If there is still negative energy you can repeat the process. Then you flush the egg to remove the the negativity covering it in salt as it is washed away. Negating the negative energy. Hope this helps someone 🫂.

That's great, thank you. One of my coveners did an egg cleansing demonstration for us a couple weeks ago where we all did the egg rub and broke the egg into a glass of water and read it. Minus the smoke, rhe red string and the salt.
Omg Ginny... when you said armor, that gave me a flashback... I grew up in the evangelical church and spent time at a christian treatment facility. I would "put on the armor of christ" every day, along with a bunch of other "truth statements" and such that I was required to recite every day... and I'm just now realizing that maybe this is a big thing contributing to my blocks! 😮 thank you for this video!

That’s exactly how I’ve explained my third eye ! Like I there is a cloud or dirty glass door in between me and spirit. It’s very frustrating! Lol
Yeah, I was a sensitive child, I had trauma that made me vulnerable. I'm a preachers kid and everything that wasn't in the bible was demonic. There were a lot of seals put on me for "protection". Then when I went out on my own I was seeing a lot of things and having a lot of experiences. I want sure if it was actual happenings or just my crazy old wizard eyes. I took the advice of a friend and shut it down. Years later I became healthier and one night I woke up to a very tall shadow person kneeling down looking intently at me. I realized in that moment that, I was "awake" again and also that I didn't needs to be afraid of these gifts. (Looking back I think the entity was my grandfather who was 6'6" and 350lbs of muscle in his prime) I do feel like I still have blocks, but I intuitively feel it's because of imbalances in my life at this point. But I don't think a ritual to take down those barriers would harm me. That said, I really appreciate that you posted this. Thank you

I love your energy and Magical standpoint. I had a traumatic spiritual experience as a youth from the darker side and did put up a strong wall to block all insight, because I was once quite psychic. However I feel like this has not served me well at all, and through my research and finding the right magic and trustworthy spirits to work with (Mostly folk tradition) I am learning to put my guard down.
I totally agree with psychic blocks often being linked to mothers. So glad you addressed that in this video! It took me a long time to see/address the block I had from my mother
I think I have a psychic block because I do energy work with a life coach and she noted that I have a ball of tangled energy below my sternum. We also did an exercise prior to this because I talked to her about feeling like I was running from something and when I tried to visualize it, it was like an amorphous, roiling black mass that I couldnt see past. Definitely something I want to work on
I feel like I've had a psychic block my whole life (now 33) and the harder I try to break free from it and use my senses and intuition the harder it seems to block me further. I'm to the point where I still believe in magic but I am having so many doubts I can't seem to get past. I've never tried to actually tell it to unblock though. Thank you for this, I will give it a try and see if this works.
I believe I have a psychic block. There’s a very real chance that my mother put it on me when I was a child. I have a history with nightmares and night terrors. When I was younger I had dreams about the devil and awful spirits. So, it would have been to protect me. If I did it to myself then it would be at the same time for the same reasons. Please help me remove this block. I’m 53 and I’ve wondered through life like what’s missing…getting glimpses of psychic gifts but not the full deal. Jodi Riggs
This is EXACTLY what I needed! I have been soooo frustrated lately, I haven't been feeling anything and I had a spirit touch me them other day, and I didn't feel it ahead of time. I apparently was ignoring them, and they needed my attention. It's the only reason I figured out what was going on.

Deep cleaning our house did help two days ago, but I haven't been feeling our two permanent house spirits lately, haven't smelled our smoker guy we brought with us when we moved, I've felt particularly blank lately and kind of in a fog, and for the life of me I can't hold a shield so I've been hiding in a dark cave which is ever so hard to climb out of if you stay there too long. Pretty sure I've done it to myself... gah!!
Spring, specifically the time leading up to Lent, can be a time when the spirits and other entities retire from the Earth, quite the opposite of Samhain, and take a bit of a break to renew themselves before Spring really gets into full bloom. Give offerings, prayers, whatever you normally do to honor the spirits, and eventually they will return. There are still dark entities about, so do keep up your protection, spiritual and otherwise. Shamanic Arawak Priestess has a recent video about this. I found it very informative and I realized it does reflect my own experience before Spring really gets into full Swing in the area where I live.
I just happened across this video today and it really hits home. I am a 3rd generation witch and my Maternal grandmother always had connections to spirits wherever they lived. I heard and saw things happen at a very young age at her house but had a terrifying experience as a pre-teen late one night when i was woke from a dead sleep. I think I may have unintentionally blocked myself, or my mother may have as she doesn't really want to speak about ghosts and such. I also realized that when out ghosting with my sister in old hotels, she will see apparitions and also seems to have spirit activity around her as well regardless of where she lives. I am not sure I really want activity happening around me, but I certainly don't want to be psychically blocked either! Thanks for the info, I will try to remove it myself. Cheers!

Oh Ginny how I wish I could come visit you. US is unfortunately a long way to visit. I feel I was having too many frightening experiences as a child and was blocked or possibly blocked myself. Same here as mrshess. My grandmother as well had the connections with spirits and could feel and hear things. As a teen I had a bad experience and actually told my grandmother that I didnt want to see things anymore. I feel that I am blocked as well. Wish that I could come and see you. Unfortunately I am in the Netherlands. But will try what you have explained. Hopefully I can remove it. 🙏🏼💜
I definitely feel I put a block on myself when I was 12 after waking up from a nightmare/dream. It actually happened in real life but to my brother. In that dream/nightmare it happened to me. It was about an igloo we made and I went in and it collapsed and I could hardly breathe. As I woke up I had a pillow on my face, I took the pillow off in disbelief and then I saw a spirit in my room. She was all white see through, dressed in like 1700-1800 dress. She wasnt scary looking but I was freaked out! She slowly turned and looked at me and I screamed and ran out of my bedroom! I have a fear of seeing them for over 30 years now however I can hear them sometimes and feel them all the time. I want this block unblocked but Im still kind of scared lol I will be saving this video for when I finally get the courage to want to see spirits

I feel better and lighter. But I still feel like it's stuck. I feel like I got through the first layer. It's a mix of me and my mother. She used to wave it off when I would see spirits but later, she told me she believed me and used to see them too. And I block unintentionally out if fear.
When I was in my late teens, I found I could see auras. My ultra Christian foster mother blew a holy gasket, and screamed it was my epilepsy. "You must not be taking your medication." I was taking my meds. It's why I almost failed school. (Side effects and all that) So I hid my gift and it became rusty. It's now a struggle to see them.

Good afternoon. I 100% know I have a block. I had a very vivid and intense episode when I was 12 and I saw the first real spirit I can remember. I was terrified. She was quite insistent and powerful. 20 years later I know it was my matron, Anne Boleyn coming through. However as I have been practicing for ten years now I know there is still a layer I haven’t uncovered within in. After my experience when I was 12, I was taken to an old auntie (one of those friends of the family) and she sat me in a circle with black candles and chanted and then she touched my forehead and closed that aspect for me. I cannot open it. I’ve tried everything I can think of but I cannot life her spell and I actually feel it tightening whenever I try!

wow spot on with the psychic block residing with the parent, especially the mother. My mom always takes out her frustration on me and this has prevented my inner self, my inner power to bloom until recently when my angel visited me. I will also try the smoke cleansing spell to unleash any further negative energy left by my parents, hopefully this will increase my awareness into spell casting. Thanks again Ginny!

I was told I have a block to protect me from something horrible I witnessed. I also have a head Injury at my at my crown-- permanent clamps
I have had a psychic block since my previous long term partner and I split up. I was highly intuitive for my whole life and able to see and experience spirits and their energies. I was often able to communicate with her father, that had passed, through various means. I think I found this quite distressing at times but I always used to be a person that put everyone else before me and would use my psychic abilities to the point of burnout. I have reached a point where I can't seem to tap into anything much anymore. I think I put this block on myself because I was so tired of communications with spirits and how drained I was feeling. Now I feel quite lost. I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience or come out the other end of it ?
I don't have a block, but lately any spiritual work I've been doing has been excessively draining. I never had this issue before unless I was doing a lot of spiritual work at once or very time consuming work. Now even a small reading leaves me feeling spiritually and physically drained as if all my energy is pouring out with whatever I attempt. Would love any advice for this?

I’d be shocked if I didn’t have a block. Mom & sis are both really sensitive. I saw a (ugh I hate saying this) shadow person when I was 13? 14? and I think seeing that shut me down.
I was on medications that gave me a psychic block. I think I still have it.

Thanks for sharing. Do you ever get a situation where someone does but doesn't have a block at the same time? For instance, I get plenty coming to me about different things. But over the last few years have had some difficulty with movement, putting in practice. I have been working on clearing it bit by bit and it's made quite a difference so far but still there somewhat.
I know I have a blockage, and I know I put it on myself as a teenager. I sae and felt something I couldnt handle. Another trusted physic told me I was blocked, that she had trouble reading me because of it. I'm in my 50s now so i kind of feel like I've been sleep waking through life. Sometimes i feel something, a slight tingle, something trying to get in, but it never lasts. I also have aphantasia, I'm not able to visualize. So I dont think this method will work for me.

I think I have a psychic block because I have really great luck the first time I try anything... remote viewing, spells, affirmations, bending spoons, tarot... I've tried so many different things, but then after the first time I can not do it again or can only do it very poorly. Could I be sabotaging myself, or is someone or something doing this to me? Same here! I get very inconsistent results! I've noticed that when there's a Water full moon i get more psychic, interestingly! From what I've read from other people , I think yes, we might be sabotaging ourselves, and in my case I also need to be more consistent in practicing my techniques, doing meditation, etc. My Adhd really makes it hard, though 😅🙃

Yes, lots of people use bells, or wands to work through the aura... vibrational sound is excellent so singing bowls work very well.

I saw a medium and she said I have a psychic block. I told her about all the happenings that were going on at the time and my past experiences.
At the time I was knowing what was happening back home in England even though I was in Australia.
I was very confused as to why all this stuff happens to me and what’s the point e.t.c. and she said I have a block because I’m surrounded by people that don’t or won’t understand and I’m scared I’ll be rejected if I continued down the psychic path. She’s correct I feel.

I know i have a physic block and have been told i do. I'm told by my ancestors. I have dreams of loved ones' who are longer with me. Yet, i can never can recall the dream or only bits and pieces of it. The dreams can sometimes be so intense that i acting out by moving around and sitting up in my sleep. A few times I've feel out of bed or close too with a sensation of floating... and i always have my cell phone in my hand. Do you think i have a physic block?
