The amount of racial comments I’m getting on this video is disgusting. If you watch these deaths and your first thought is “Why is Darius Dying? Because he’s black” or something along those lines, you need a reality check. Vile that we have to deal with such comments in 2022
Darius is the main character of Camp Cretaceous, he’s also the character you’re “playing” as throughout this episode and not to mention he’s also the character that should be getting his Dinosaur Facts right. Of course he’ll be shaped up to die more often because of those reasons.
Thinking that something is racially motivated or trying to force a problem that’s not there is disgusting. Racism is banned across this channel and will be dealt with. Enough with the racist comments.
So many people nowadays WANT to cause strife. They actively try to create a problem. And yeah, it's sad that that's the state of the world.

If you're going in blind, like I'm sure many of us did, it definitely seems like Darius is constantly dying (a lot more than the other campers) for no reason at all.
Him being the player character explains why he dies way more, but how is anyone supposed to know that without playing this crap

I died on the baryonyx, the brachiosaurus, and the code decision twice on my first try.

My favorite death was the Mosasaur eating Darius. Not for the death itself, since it was pretty avoidable had Sammy not torn the page from the book, but for Mr. DNA's reaction. He looks absolutely traumatized, and it's both hilarious and heartbreaking.
Also, Apatosaurus wasn't in Hidden Adventure. I played the stampede scene twice, and it was just some Brachiosaurs.
Apatosaurus’ neck is more bent and it’s quite smaller and there’s no head bump, they are apatosaurus

I was in the middle of re-watching camp Cretaceous when I went on Instagram and saw an ad for the interactive adventure and I went to it SO FAST, my first run I had gotten all the answers correct and had a good ending so I didn’t even know they would actually DIE until I went back and chose my opposite answers LMAOO

Nobody knows how badly I was laughing when I got Darius killed the first time, I was caught off guard because of the plot armor shown in the show XD
These kids are the ones getting a reality check, noticing that they can't enter a "Oh no, I'm gonna get eaten" stance and expect a miracle to save them.

Poor Darius. 😢 If the wrong choices are made, he has some gruesome deaths. Imagine if we got the campers’ reactions? To see their shocked and horrified faces. On top of that, they start bawling.
I was stepped on by the Brachiosaurus and devoured by the Tarbosaurus at least twice before I got a happy ending... It was traumatic lol. It reminds me of when I played TellTale's "The Walking Dead" game and I tried to save that scavenger woman from a zombie, but I accidentally killed her, like, 20 times before I saved her. xD

What’s probably the most disturbing is the actual chomping, meaty crunching sounds on a lot of the deaths
This makes me realize that, yes, these are children, and yes, they are indeed in mortal danger and not just main characters.
Seems like they could have avoided being eaten in a number of those deaths if they just star d running instead of freezing and waiting for the dino(usually tarbo)to bite!
Even if they did start running, since they were usually so close to the dino, they probably couldn't outspeed it.

I’m kinda late but oh well, I think this reveals the terrifying truth of how difficult it would have been to survive in their situation , I know I would have died within days of being there, now this just throws plot armor away , and it’s quite interesting :).

There's something horribly disturbing about the fact that the wrong choice can lead to a child's death.
Just like real life. One can only hope to never make that mistake.
I found a mistake in the game, it happens when choosing the last choice on the path when choosing the car, I had first chosen tunnels and therefore was met with the sequence of the tarbo and toro fighting, then I chose sneak away and the story ended, and me DNA prompted me to choose the distract option. Now this is where the mistake in programming comes in, dependent on which path you had chosen, whether it be Main Street with REXY or tunnels with toro, the scene will go and play the distraction path but instead of the chosen dino(in this case toro because of tunnels choice), the opposite dino fight scene( in this case between REXY and tarbo) plays out. Same said with choosing the alternate path, if you choose REXY and end escape, then hit distract, it cuts to the original distract with Toro instead.
I saw that as well. I was so confused as to why Toro decided to just _evolve_ into Rexy for no reason.
The camper's death in Hidden Adventure was dark. 😱🦖💀

I was honestly expecting this to be one of those bullshit telltale games where the choices you make don't really negatively affect anything, and there wouldn't be any deaths because you know… They're kids.
But no, this actually proved to be a really entertaining and fun episode. And the fact that they were willing to have actual game over scenes is pretty bold considering… You know they're children...
Massive props to DreamWorks, this was great… Hopefully will get to see more, but I doubt it.

I like these styles of games so maybe I might check out the game, it seems Darius’s perspective is the only one it follows which puts me off a bit since I want to play as Brooklynn or even Roxie the camp lead guide person if she managed to stay with the campers.

Just a theory, but when the tarbosaurus was clicking a lot it reminded me of the theri, maybe they both have echolocation.
Just finished playing it. Amazingly, I only made one bad decision. I chose to use the emergency exit after the Tarbosaurus attacked the jeep.

Darius is the main character and you're offed two choices...plot armor or no plot armor. The problem is in 2022-23 that literally it can't be taken as just a fun little experience. but has to be looked threw via a certain lenses. Though, a lot of people who have a problem with Darius gettin chomped if "YOU" make a bad decision. I direct you to Jurassic part the tale tail game. Most of the main characters in that are white or hispanic....if you make the wrong choice.... you gettin chomped. Weirdly it is like if you go to a theme park with a bunch of genetically modified dinosaurs and f8ck around with a t rex. you will find out that it don't matter wat your race is. all tastes the same to rexy.

While I hadn't watched Hidden Adventure just yet, it's both an interesting and underwhelming concept.
It presents interesting alternate story routes but never really follows through beyond a video game-style "You died" ending. And as others have pointed out, we don't even see the other camper's reactions to the deaths.
Also, is there any kind of merit to the Tarbo being Rexy on 'roids or was it just a lazy solution on the creators' part?

I think the four endings are:
The camper’s stay in the bunker
The camper’s go back to their base with food
The camper’s go back to their base without food
(Idk the last one cuz those are the only ones i found out now)
I think reactions would from the surviving campers would have been good, if not a tad bit grim.

Fun facts I spent the entire episode trying to get the wrong choices to lose but every single one I got right.
The times i died were when i chose climb down over wash off smell on the roller coaster. I also died when i chose emergency exit over follow ride, i mean in the tunnel, if they followed the way back, they would’ve get eaten by toro so i presumed that emergency exit is the best option lol. Lastly, i died when i chose 2015 over 2005 when they were about to enter the passcode in Brimford’s secret place haha!
So the dinosaurs have FINALLY become as dangerous as the shark from Jaws.

and i still dont understand
like i get it why darius and ben stopped there and died but bumping into dinos leg shouldnt have saved them. and the reason for it is momentum conservation principle again. the dino is so heavy it should like barely move and this movement wouldnt even be visible. like youre walking and idk a volleyball ball hits your leg, youd probably look at it because well something hit you but it wouldnt be enough to do the thing they did. like idk it still doesnt have any sense for me bumping into dino shouldnt have made any impact
