Hey guys, today we are going into the oldest Hindu temple in the world called the Gudimallam temple. This is a small temple, but it has many secrets hidden inside. The most interesting, is the evidence of secret tunnels which lead you to a large underground area. This was shot inside the dark chambers in this temple, and you can see that this just looks like a regular stone, which makes up a wall. But the truth is, it can swing, like a door, and can open up. This particular opening is a small secret chamber, and it originally had a map of the 9 different passages in this temple which all lead underground. If you look at the temple walls, they all look quite normal, appear to have been made of solid rectangular blocks of granite and you think there is nothing strange on the other side of the stones. But there are 9 specific stones, out of these thousands of stones in the temple, which can swing open like doors. These doors are said to lead underground. For example, architecturally, there is no need for all these granite blocks to be set up on top of each other, this is totally unnecessary. Locals claim, that one of the blocks here can be opened up and will lead underground to a secret area.
Now, what really exists in this underground area? The answer lies in the name of this temple itself: It is called Gudimallam which literally means "Underground Temple" in ancient Indian language. (Gudi = Temple, Mallam ~ Pallam = Underground). At the ground level, in the center chamber, we can see the main idol of Shiva. This is considered the oldest Hindu idol in the world, and locals believe that the real, original lingam is hidden directly underneath this idol, in a large underground area.
Now, what is a lingam? A lingam is usually a cylindrical structure standing on a circular base, and worshipped by Hindus, but nobody knows what this symbol actually means. Some historians and experts are arguing that the cylinder and the round base are symbols of fertility, of a man and a woman. Some archeologists have even gone so far to point out that the top of this statue, the very first idol of Shiva, looks like a phallus, and all other lingams were modeled after this.
But I want to point out to something that happened recently, I want you to look at this rocket sent into space called "New Shepard" recently. Just look at the shape of the rocket, it looks remarkably similarly to a phallus, because it is aerodynamic in shape, and I want you to just imagine about what would happen if this rocket reaches and lands on another planet which has people who don't have advanced technology. Out of this rocket, an astronaut would come out , who would be capable of many things those people would not be capable of. Wouldn't they carve an idol exactly similar to the very first idol of Shiva we see in this temple? Is it possible that Shiva, was an extraterrestrial visitor who physically came from a different planet and reached earth?
The ancient Hindu text of Shivapurana clearly explains that Shiva comes from a planet called Shivalokha, it explains the planet's position in the universe and describes that the planet is beautiful and shines with different objects. Was the lingam, really a rocket, or a kind of pod using which Shiva came to earth?

I second what milky said, you need a larger platform for your information. I can't really find anyone else who goes into Indian and Hindu history as much as you do. Most people go straight to Mesopotamia and completely ignore the Indus Valley. Maybe you could put some of your footage together and create longer documentaries that you could sell on Amazon or something.

I have visited this temple with my parents 4 or 5 years ago. My father worked as a PHC medical officer in that area. He knew lot of stuff about that temple but sadly he passed away 2 years back. One thing he told me was that area was famous for glass beads. There are 2 mysteries I would like you to explore if possible. These two are from my native place Nandyal in kurnool district of AP.
1. Mahanandi temple, this is very famous temple which is very popular in both telugu states and Karnataka. My mother used to tell a story that under this temple there is another temple called “marugu Mahanandi” means hidden Mahanandi temple where gods come and worship lord shiva. This temple is accessible only on specific days and time and only through pond in the temple. I loved that story as a child so much and wanted to investigate. She used to tell that temple will look exactly like the Mahanandi temple. She heard that story from someone in her childhood who got stranded in hidden temple by mistake and finally came back.
2. Omkaram temple this is also very near to Nandyal town and it is also a remote shiva temple. The intriguing part is there is cave which emanates OM sound. My great grand mother used to tell this. Lot of people used to hear this. Though I visited this temple I did not get an opportunity to go to the cave. May be if it interests you, you can try to find out more. My native place Nandyal is an amazing place with lot of mysterious and wonderful temples.

Just speechless! I live in Nellore city and the abovementioned temple is about 85kms from Nellore city. I am blessed to have visited this temple 4-5 times but never known what you have shown right here. And I have happened to see the idol that you showed where shiva is standing in Lingam, on social media where it mentioned that the strange Shiva Lingam is located somewhere near chittor dist. I've been contacting people near chittor to know where such unique Shiva statue is located. I'm now shocked to see that the shiva statue is located in underground in a temple which I've already visited many a times. My friends are there in the village where the temple located but none of them knew what u discovered and shown. Can't thank you enough Praveen 👏You are really a boon for Hindus in 21st century. 🙏

There was so many times Indian temple and old universities invaded by either Mughal or British. After independence Indian government didn't want to share information about our oldest temples and it's importance. Because till 1991 india didn't at stable conditions. Our ancient temples have so many scientific evidence and more importantly monetary value. Silently indian govt protect our ancient heritage and keep promoting Taj mahal . After 2000 government slowly promoting tourism . Because they have enough security personnel and good temple management to secure our ancient temples.

Hi Praveen,I wanted to also share a strange thing about this temple....I have visited this temple 10-12yrs ago from now,At that time there is nothing... not even a lamp in garbhagudi the guide who was there said "This is very great temple that outer world doesnt know,but it came to an end now,beacuse no one is bothering this temple(very was very exited when we visited)".He said this is the only temple in world in which shiva statue is not like 'Lingam'.And main idol is actually Brahma,vishnu,maheswara. You know the mindblowing part is "there is a hole in garbhagudi that is connected to Bay Of Bengal and in one time the water flows forcefully and hits roof just above the God and falls as 'ABHISHEKAM'. I was very small but I was very interested in this kind of things so this mysterious thing fixed in my head". And really happy to see this temple development. Thanknyou.

This series primarily focused on how aliens influenced the world in general and still how we humans are in contact with them even now. A lot has been said about Hindu Gods and temples as well including the very famous Padmanabha temple....
I have been interested and researched ancient technology for half my life. Only been able to see places all around the US so far (There is much more here than people think). I hope to go to Teotihuacan in the upcoming year and maybe South America the following year. I would love to visit India. I have visited the temple by chance, without any prior knowledge and was completely mesmerized by the absolutely divine energy inside the temple.i didn't know anything about this temple but once inside I wanted to just be there. There was such a different sort of positive energy that I felt completely recharged.

In 2019 I had a dream of Lord Shiva. It was so real yet frightening at the same time (he wasn't pleased). At that time I did believe in him but that experience really hammered in how great his power is. I pay him sincere reverence and I can't wait until I get a lingam of my own. I've always felt that the lingam was just more than just a phallic symbol. I still have a lot of learning to do and I'm thankful you've mentioned his scriptures so I can read up on them for myself.

@sree tam Some temples do have these restrictions, but that is not based in any religious reason. It's based on history. These temples have been on assault list of outside invaders for centuries.

Hey Praveen....I think lingams were power generating stations which would provide power to alien space crafts and also radio transmission in past....you will find complete mountains looking like lingams near ancient Shiva temples or Jyotirling temples. These become nice n active in month of Shravan. But this is not it .... May be for later time.

I visited this temple about 17 years ago, at that time it was not known to many.No pooja and no rituals. Totally neglected.I recently visited this temple and happy to know that this temple taken care as protected Ancient monument and poojas regularly conducted.

During ancient times there were invasions by many kings not hindus. These temples were constructed in way to comoflage the structure.When there were muslim and english invaders these temples the original diety was kept underground and a similar idol was placed above, our forefathers were great architects, had great knowledge.Most of the Shiva temples in India have basements where the original idol is placed.Great work Pravin....
