Great reaction! Some good news? You haven't seen anything yet, believe me. Ren's a musical genius. He sings in multiples styles and tones, always brilliantly. He raps like a rap god! He beatboxes and scats. He plays about 10 different instruments well. About half of them ridiculously well. He lays down all his own music/beats, being a master producer. He even directs his own videos and many, like Hi Ren, are recorded live, in a single take! His performance skills are first class and he just oozes charisma. As for his songwriting skills? World-class, especially his lyricism. He's a poet really! Ally all this to high intelligence and a wicked sense of humour and he's pretty much unstoppable. He doesn't really miss, despite the constant changes of tone, style and genre He's determinedly independent, as he values artistic control over industry acclaim and material riches and unlike many other artists, he really means it. It really is all about the music with Ren! He was signed by Sony in his late teens but the contract was terminated when he became ill. He still suffers from incurable chronic illnesses and a myriad of associated conditions and is currently in Canada undergoing experimental treatments, in an attempt to repair some of the damage thats been done to his body and brain. Although still seriously ill and having days when he can't function, his condition has improved considerably, since receiving a correct diagnosis, followed by stem cell transplants. He was misdiagnosed for 7 or 8 years and suffered horrendously. For more info on all that, there are a few shorts on his CZcams homepage that will explain better than I can. I'd also recommend watching his 'Defining Succes - 1 million subscribers' video. It's only about 5 minutes long but will give you a good idea of the man. I have become a "reaction addict", and I swear for the last few months, 80% of my reaction video time has been on Ren. I've also never been into much rap. All the information here was gathered exclusively from sources Ren personally approved for public release. Ren is a British musician/independent artist/producer, self-taught multi-instrumentalist; originally from Wales. Ren pursued a career in music from an early age. In 2009, while studying music performance at Bath Spa University, Ren began to experience health issues and was struggling to attend his lectures, which eventually caused him to discontinue his studies and return home. In addition, Ren was signed by Sony Records in 2010 and was working on an album when his health deteriorated to the point that he was unable to go on; consequently, his contract with Sony was dissolved. Ren would later relocate to Brighton. Ren's illness often kept him in bed for up to 23 hours daily. Ren was initially misdiagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome, which led him to experience psychosis and develop PTSD. It would take seven years before a doctor in Belgium finally correctly diagnosed Ren with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and resulting damage to the brain, organs, joints, and PTSD. I keep thinking ive seen every reaction to this song that exists.. and then ill find another.. so needless to say ive seen a lot and this is the best one ive seen in a while. Youve got my sub. Cant wait to follow you down the rabbit hole. Also you will get tons of request for all his songs and honstly you cant go wrong with really anything he does.. For me personally, especially with the state our world is in- character matters. I only have been following him since Dec.. but ive seen him use his platform to raise money for charity, raise up reactors, raise up other artists, speak out on injustices and remind people that we are all humans and will not agree on everything but not to let our differences divide. You should check out his 1million subscribers defining success video. Im pretty sure that title is right or close enough you can find it, but it will give you a little insite into the type of person he is. I truly believe there's nothing that Ren can't do and to say that this is his magnum opus would be an understatement since ALL of his music is healing, and emotional, and authentic. I adore Ren. He calls his style of music Bardcore. His fans call themselves Renegades and he's always promoting other musicians. In fact, he told everyone to check out an artist that dissed him because he said the artist really was talented. He introduced us to Dirt Miller (Kansas City is my favorite song of his). He generous beyond belief. I'm nearly 60 this year and I'm a huge fan. Watch Out by The Big Push is a fun one with this adorable young girl named California starring in it

Ren does most of his videos live and in one take, this one they had to do it all the way through 4 times and went with this one. Chalk outlines, how to be me are magical but power losing it and down with the beat are club tunes good for pounding that beat

Good reaction! It's not necessary to have the captions on when watching his videos. He pins the lyrics below the songs. Otherwise the captions are very distracting when watching a reaction. You are going to be going down the Ren rabbit hole if you keep watching more of his videos! I recommend that you watch him rap in "The Hunger" or hear him sing incredibly and his guitar skills in his video with 'The Big Push" when they are busking outside to "I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop"!
