I love Edith Bowman, she's the least irritating interview who actually knows the band and asks good questions. She's so lucky she's gotten to interview them a million times over the years!

God I LOVE Matt. He manages to fixate me every time. He's so expressive with his guestures.. and what a spectacular mind! So full of ideas and awesomeness. (Love it when he wears red too ^^)
dom's face when matt put his arm around his shoulder was priceless hahaha. he was like 'omg matty don't let them know' and looked nervous. so adorable XD
I feel like he had to have learned over the years, but if not that's why when you see the Making of Resistance or 2nd Law, there are plenty of moments where he needs to clarify to the conductor what he's looking for in certain parts. I can't read music either but it is to my understanding that sheet music should be able to tell you every detail, not just what note is played but how firm or gentle it sounds, how long the notes linger and all that. It is more incredible that songs like Space Dementia were written when he couldn't read music.
Best analogy to what he's saying that I can think of is the current move to digital downloads in music but even with all that convenience and clarity people still yearn for vinyl and stuff like that.

I loved The Resistance album. A real experience, like a story, from the first song to the last. It mesmerises me when I listen to it. I love all of them really. Haven't gotten into the latest one so much (yet).
