Coming out of high school, my first vote was cast against Clinton. The successes of his first term were due to policies set in motion during the Reagan and Bush administrations. As his second term approached and the criminality of the Clinton's was exposed, many of my Democratic friends quietly expressed their shame in voting for him previously. A shift to the right was inevitable. Unfortunately, the result was the Dubbya administration and a downward spiral in the quality of candidates put forth by both major parties. I don't believe a second Trump administration as a great thing, but I think it is a necessary thing for the well-being of America, economically and defensively. Hopefully making it possible for a return to centrist American values and a less divisive political atmosphere come 2028.

Coming out of high school, my first vote was cast against Clinton. The successes of his first term were due to policies set in motion during the Reagan and Bush administrations. As his second term approached and the criminality of the Clinton's was exposed, many of my Democratic friends quietly expressed their shame in voting for him previously.
A shift to the right was inevitable. Unfortunately, the result was the Dubbya administration and a downward spiral in the quality of candidates put forth by both major parties.
I don't believe a second Trump administration as a great thing, but I think it is a necessary thing for the well-being of America, economically and defensively. Hopefully making it possible for a return to centrist American values and a less divisive political atmosphere come 2028.
