I almost cried for the bride when she hated the dress. Thank goodness her mother went back and had a backup option knowing her daughter well. Not nice to go behind MIL's back but MIL didn't care that she said she didn't feel comfortable in the dresses in the bridal store. Seriously, listen to their likes of the other person's choice so that you can factor in the things you didn't get right even though they chose your overall vision doesn't mean they like everything, so pay attention and actually care about the bride/groom's preferences.
Donna is cute, but she's obnoxious. And the bride's mother is not a Karen, she just realizes that a wedding is more than a party, it's about a marriage.

The moms pick of the dress was beautiful. Glad she did that. The other dress was pretty too just didn’t look or feel bridal. Glad it all worked out.

Why do the mother's listen in the beginning about the thoughts of the Couple on the visions? It seems as if neither mother listens to the first reactions of their kids! That truly is the saddest part! I did love that the mother of the bride got another dress. That should always be the mother of the bride! Unless the bride voices different!

The groom's mother was planning that wedding for HERSELF. She selfishly picked a dress for HERSELF and her body-type, and stubbornly risked having the ceremony in the rain. What a character.

These are the most depressing shows. These weddings are in no way reflective of the couple. It’s all about their mothers visions. Sad that the ego of the mother in charge overrides the vision of what their children Amy want on their wedding day. Selfish parents.

I saw one with a Hollywood theme where the two mothers met in the middle with tradition and fun. The couple was happy, they had a lovely wedding, and the mothers were close by the end

It should be they both have to compromise. This was so sad. The gown should be mom and daughter period. Mother-in-law did not have the mother work with her it was its my way so get over it and do what I say. That's why she is divorced 3 times. And the other mother happily married. The ceremony was beautiful and I am glad the wedding coordinator stepped and put an end to the shenanigans of games. She knew it was going to rain but it was all about just her way or the highway. She could have had it outdoor but have the priest from the church marry them. Happy their married and each brought a good element to the wedding but this was tragic and thank God mom saved the day with the dress that would have been photos she would have cried for years to come knowing she did not have a chance to feel that was here dress. She could have had a tent most golf clubs have tents for parties. Wishing the couple much happiness and long marriage like the bride's mom.

The MIL can say she likes the bride all she wants, but she hates the bride. What caring person would deliberately put a bride in a dress that she feels uncomfortable in? I also think the bride opted for the MIL's choice from pressure from the groom. She clearly stated she liked the piper and some of the other things her mother chose. No mistake which mother chose which design. I see evil in the MIL's eyes.

I'm physically fit and I go to church every Sunday. The church is the only thing that is fitting in a wedding except my daughter has chosen to be agnostic. No one wants to go to the gym on their wedding day although my daughter is into physical fitness too. I can not imagine planning a wedding that would be more about me than my daughter and what she would want.
