I highly recommend getting either The Clear Quran or getting The Study Quran by Seyyed Hossein Nasr. The Clear Quran is my favourite translation. The Study Quran has large commentaries for almost every verse. There’s lots of essays and maps too on Islamic history, theology, and philosophy in it. It’s great if you want a deep academic analysis of it.

That is the miracle of The Quran. The Quran has no contradictions, no mistakes and no discrepancies. Experts to this day have been grinding their heads trying to find errors and contradictions in the Quran, but it is impossible. God has even challenged mankind 3 times in the Quran to make something like it.

The Story of the Prophet and the Jewish Boy Prophet Muhammad was paying visit to a sick person who was very dear to him. He was visiting a Jewish boy who had been working for him as his personal servant. The boy used to bring Prophet Muhammad water for his ablutions, get him his sandals, and run errands for him. On this day, the Prophet was troubled by the boy’s absence, so he went to his home to visit him in his illness and inquire after him. He went inside and sat near to the boy’s head. The boy’s father sat across from him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) looked upon the boy with compassion, sad to see him dying at such a young age. The Prophet then called the boy to consider what he needed at this time the most; the religion with which he would meet his Lord. He said: Accept Islam. Declare that there is no God but God and that I am His messenger. The boy was receptive to this invitation. He had been the Prophet’s servant, and during that time he got to know the Prophet’s character, manners, and temperament. The boy had recognized in the Prophet the characteristics of a messenger of God. He knew that the Prophet was neither a tyrant nor a pretender. Nevertheless, the boy still felt his father’s authority acutely, so he turned his face to his father and looked imploringly at him, waiting for his father’s consent. Again, the Prophet invited the boy to accept Islam, seeing that the boy’s life was quickly fading away. At this point, the boy’s father said: “Obey Abul-Qasim (meaning the Prophet). Say what Muhammad is telling you to say.” The Jewish boy then uttered the words: “I testify that there is no god but God, and that you are God’s messenger.” He said these words with his final breath. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) emerged from the boy’s home, he was warmed by the fact that God had guided him. He said: Praise be to Allah who used me to save him from the Fire. Then he turned to his Companions and said: Hold the funeral prayer for your brother. (Al-Bukhari)

A story happened to an imam. The imam was on a bus to his destination. The man who is in charge of taking the travel fees or tickets from the travellers came to him. The imam gave him money and the man returned the change and there was 20 shillings more than he owed the man. The man left and the imam was asking himself should I return should I keep it he was in dilemma and then as the bus stoped at his destination he decided to give it back and told the man you gave me more than I owed you. Salaam, I have an idea that may be beneficial, Allah knows best, when you test the brother on the memorisation of the Qur'an, if you get an English transliteration and ask the person to pick a spot and read a word or two, and then the brother reads the next few words, that would be more impactful as the person can verify if the brother is correct.

How can a book written by men be seriously taken as the Word of God?
Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) did not write the Quran for that would have been impossible because he was illiterate in that he could not read nor write. The Word of God that is the Quran was revealed to the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) by the Angel of Revelation Jibreel(as) (Gabriel) by Allah's Permission, which was then recited and memorized by heart, letter by letter, word for word by prophet Muhammad's(pbuh) companions and became preserved and protected to this day and has remained unchanged and unaltered for the past 1400 years. That is the miracle of The Quran. The Quran has no contradictions, no mistakes and no discrepancies. Experts to this day have been grinding their heads trying to find errors and contradictions in the Quran, but it is impossible. God has even challenged mankind 3 times in the Quran to make something like it.

The Story of the Prophet and the Jewish Boy
Prophet Muhammad was paying visit to a sick person who was very dear to him. He was visiting a Jewish boy who had been working for him as his personal servant. The boy used to bring Prophet Muhammad water for his ablutions, get him his sandals, and run errands for him.
On this day, the Prophet was troubled by the boy’s absence, so he went to his home to visit him in his illness and inquire after him.
He went inside and sat near to the boy’s head. The boy’s father sat across from him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) looked upon the boy with compassion, sad to see him dying at such a young age.
The Prophet then called the boy to consider what he needed at this time the most; the religion with which he would meet his Lord. He said:
Accept Islam. Declare that there is no God but God and that I am His messenger.
The boy was receptive to this invitation. He had been the Prophet’s servant, and during that time he got to know the Prophet’s character, manners, and temperament.
The boy had recognized in the Prophet the characteristics of a messenger of God. He knew that the Prophet was neither a tyrant nor a pretender.
Nevertheless, the boy still felt his father’s authority acutely, so he turned his face to his father and looked imploringly at him, waiting for his father’s consent.
Again, the Prophet invited the boy to accept Islam, seeing that the boy’s life was quickly fading away. At this point, the boy’s father said:
“Obey Abul-Qasim (meaning the Prophet). Say what Muhammad is telling you to say.”
The Jewish boy then uttered the words:
“I testify that there is no god but God, and that you are God’s messenger.”
He said these words with his final breath. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) emerged from the boy’s home, he was warmed by the fact that God had guided him. He said:
Praise be to Allah who used me to save him from the Fire.
Then he turned to his Companions and said:
Hold the funeral prayer for your brother. (Al-Bukhari)

Now this was a perfect opportunity for Jesus to claim 'yes, I'm god' or something similar. But instead he said this-
"Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’? If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came-and Scripture cannot be set aside- what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? *Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy* because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?" [John 10:34-36]
So here Jesus clearly denied being God, but son of God (metaphorical son)
Here in another place Jesus clearly denied being God:

Furthermore, Jesus needed to Pray,Fast, Eat, Drink and Was Helped by Woman, as stated in Luke 8:1-3 but God in Bible is self-sufficient

A story happened to an imam. The imam was on a bus to his destination. The man who is in charge of taking the travel fees or tickets from the travellers came to him. The imam gave him money and the man returned the change and there was 20 shillings more than he owed the man. The man left and the imam was asking himself should I return should I keep it he was in dilemma and then as the bus stoped at his destination he decided to give it back and told the man you gave me more than I owed you. The man says I did that on purpose because I saw you dressed in an Islamic way with the beard so I wanted to test you of you guys referring to Muslims were any different than others and he accepted Islam just like that. Subhanalah. You can all do daawah just with your actions. Imagine if the imam didn't return that money.

Salaam, I have an idea that may be beneficial, Allah knows best, when you test the brother on the memorisation of the Qur'an, if you get an English transliteration and ask the person to pick a spot and read a word or two, and then the brother reads the next few words, that would be more impactful as the person can verify if the brother is correct.
*SUBHAN'ALLAH* ALLAH clearly explains everything and when we think of it we really realise that HE is the 'most wise'.It feels great when people study Deen just like Sheikh Uthman and share it.*MASHA'ALLAH*
