Making paper from organic cotton, sun and water

Over the last year we’ve been working on turning the waste in our supply chain into a resource, so that there is no waste. This amazing plant takes the organic cotton floor waste, basically the offcuts when you make a tee) and then adds rainwater, solar power and a sun-drying shed (no chemicals, just some clever machinery) and makes beautiful card and paper. They print our designs with Soy. This is how we make our new packaging and stickers.

Thanks for showing this. It would be good to have subtitles as it is hard to hear everything due to the background noise. I want to make my own rag paper at home, so need to work out some sort of shredding machine.
High power blenders work just fine if you cut it up and soak it first. We don't often think about this, but it's a plant fiber too.

How much water is used in making cotton paper?
Rain is collected from the roof, and evaporates when the paper is air dried, so zero
(the organic cotton used here is waste & offcuts)
