Eleanor Tomlinson has got to be one of the single most beautiful women I have ever seen, from her personality to her looks and her singing is amazing. If I didn't know any better I would think G-d was showing off when he created her.
When we took our _Poldark_ tour in June, I told our guide I'd seen Aidan in _The Lieutenant of Inishmore_ two nights before in London, and he said, "Oh, you're one of Aidan's maidens!" LOL I thought that was hilarious since I hadn't even heard that expression before. But then he informed me he was much more thrilled seeing Eleanor Tomlinson himself. :) I couldn't blame him.
Sorry to burst your bubble Mate, but her creation had nothing to do with God, she is actually a he just for the record and also that so called lady who was interviewing her/him is also a he and not a she. Time to wake up my friend!

Come on, lighten up - Aidan Turner’s a good looking guy and he doesn’t take his shirt off that often. Love that Poldark is a clean show and I enjoy it very much, everyone plays their parts well.

I purchased her cd. Her voice is lovely. Her brother is featured on one of the songs and his voice is pure and beautiful as well. Eleanor is so talented and is just adorable.
Eleanor is a fantastic actress and I have loved her since the first series. I will miss Poldark. Faithful follower.

Outstanding series, wish I could buy the whole set, but price forbids. Eleanor is such a sweetheart, I thought she was Scottish though. The scenery on the hills above the sea always take my breath away; riding horseback there must be glorious. Both Aidan and Eleanor deserve the fans they have, they have done brilliant work.
Just been days watching Series one to series three. Brilliant! Can not wait until sunday.

I’m a bluegrass muscian and songwriter. I am always looking for acoustic music . I discovered Eleanor when I found her cover of Gordon Lightfoot’s “If you could read my mind” on her Tales of Home album. I listened more. The album is acoustic arrangements with this angelic female voice. I started googling Eleanor and discovered Poldark! I binged through the episodes! I’m not the type to go crazy over actors or celebrities until I discovered Eleanor!! I look forward to following her career and very much hope that music will be more of a part of it.

Oh, but how can you be _from_ Cornwall? How could you leave it? We visited there in June after I'd seen Aidan's play in London and took a _Poldark_ tour that took us all over the place, then stayed another two days, and it's so gorgeous! Of course, I knew that already having seen _Poldark,_ but it must have pained you to leave it. I hope you get back once in a while to refresh yourself. I know I just loved being there.
I have to agree, Cornwall is a gem of the world. I am living in Somerset area which is a very beautiful place to live, however, Cornwall is beyond anything I've ever seen in my life.
Well, felipe uk, I have to agree, but all of England is really very beautiful. Cornwall was a great way to end our trip, but we really went all over the British Isles and it was just one gorgeous picture after another. I often have visited places I ended up wishing I could move there. The UK is one of them.

No doubt Aidan is a nice looking man but I would have liked to see a pic of. Eleanor as an urchin beside a pic of her transformation into Lady of Nampara. Her journey is note-worthy and hasn't gotten the kudos and attention it deserves. Aidan is wonderful but he has an extraordinary supporting cast.
The acting was the main reason I watched. There is not a weak link in the bunch.

Eleanor is a fantastic actress and singer. I know Aiden gets a LOT of attention, and God knows I love him, but she also makes the show. Her Demelza is wonderful. In this case it takes two to make this show superb.
agree - Aidan was great as Ross but Eleanor's Demelza made him even better - Aidan did say he couldn't have done it without her.

I thought they said that season 4 would cover the last of The Four Swans and The Angry Tide. My favorites were The Twisted Sword and Bella Poldark. I would love to see The Twisted Sword as part of the series it tells so much about Jeremy and Valentine’s life’s and really answers so many questions as to the out come of those early years of Ross, Demelza and Elisabeth and George.

She actually broke my heart when Demelza succumbed to Hugh's advances and became unfaithful to Ross... It was painful to watch...
Ross loved Elizabeth and only after Demelza fell in love with Armitage did Ross realize how heartbreaking it is when the person you love also loves another.
@@Delilah361 I know, but I held her in higher esteem. I felt she was better than Ross. The story highlights how messy life can be. That is why I like British TV and cinema. The writing and acting are way better than Americans.

I’m surprised by Eleanor’s response to the question of whether Poldark keeps running. She says that it’s the final series but seems to suggest the possibility of it going beyond that at some point. Or am I just reading that wrong? Or is she just saying at that point (June) she wasn’t yet certain of how the last series was being written? It’s an interesting point if the producers want to end it in such a way that leaves the possibility of bringing it back in the future.

This comment was not trying to make people have an opinion, it was just something that I caught the guy saying, something that I thought was kinda funny, it wasn’t a serious question that was supposed get replies.
I imagine, since _Poldark_ seems to be a commentary on war and its aftermath (none of the story would have happened if Ross had stayed home and married Elizabeth), and since the European Union pretty much guarantees no war will be fought any longer between the UK and France or any other European countries, he would probably be for the UK staying in the EU.

in an interview Eleanor T. gave she stated she thought she should be payed equally to Aidan . She made it sound as if it was a sexist thing , when , in all actuality , it was a lead
protagonist being payed more a supporting character.As you stated Eleanor agreed to the amount she got payed when she signed the contract and I think it is wrong to gripe about your payroll and compare it to a fellow actors especially if that actor does more stunts and is required to do more laborious things whall filming .
