One thing I loved about Taylor's songs gaining hype in tiktok is that many are being introduced to her B-sides, she's an album artist and her non single tracks are really where it's at
I know!! I always hear people making fun of Taylor's songwriting, and how her songs are bad lol but it's actually due to the fact that she somehow almost always solo releases the worst or just okay tracks of her albums 😭
When the album comes out, she always exceeds expectations due to this.
Those tracks were not bad per se, it's just that in my opinion, there are way better tracks for solo release.
Yeah and I hate some Swifties gatekeeping her songs, don't they want her underrated songs to get more attention? Whether it came from TikTok or not, the fact that the casuals knew her non-singles makes me happy.
@@cornellia8206 i think that’s because artists almost never release their best or favorite tracks on their albums as singles, they release the ones that will do best on the radio. certain songs just have single vibes like ME! and Look what you made me do and 22. if she didn’t release those as singles but they were still on the album you’d be like “why the fuck do these even exist?”

I am shocked this wasn't a single. Taylor has many great tracks that weren't released at singles she's a really good storyteller & never really has a bad song, but this one just feels like a single so much more so than some she released for this album.
