      How stupid is this comment! So there's much you need to learn about how the book got this way and factors that happened on a global stage. Next they will take credit for inflation that was predicted to drop and has as it would have regardless of anything. I see greedy and fickle neanderthals that are bad at acting!

  • @jasonpoihegatama1347
    @jasonpoihegatama1347 Před 13 dny

    They need to get their own builders, and make contract for the building material's. So builds can be as cheep as possible, As there is many years work to be done. Its not a profit making company. Bit over the long term it will or can pay for itself and it will save NZ a lot as it pays 1 million per week in motels And rental subsidy And will help with cost of living.

      Easy. You build 15,000 houses and have huge capital costs. And the ROI takes decades to return.
      You do know KO has planned and paid for the design of almost 15,000 additional houses right? And implemented a lot of it? Have you seen east Tamaki? Eastern porirua?

    Kainga Ora is a Maori name and has such a negative connection to it and it's not because of Maoris. Maybe the name should be changed to English like some places in NZ.

      Actually a lot of money is lost overseas in these buildings. Especially during a housing crises. Thousands of rooms housing New Zealanders at a thousand a room. Think bigger than the little cash grabs they swiped and highlighted that only actually made a few richer. Once we as one lose the land then absolutely all of us can be misplaced (not just Maori) the colonial pattern of depletion is getting tired. Fish in the water and food on the land is worth more than this money you grub. Jacinda stopped her pay from increasing. You are reductive

    This guy forgets it’s about people. My son lives in a row of 5 Kainga Ora houses all with health issues. They have been hounded since this govt took over and it has been very detrimental to all of them. My son was hospitalised with life threatening infection and received emails and calls about rent due, causing huge anguish. He owes zero rent and has no bad rent history. But one of his MPs forgot $178,000 and he spent $57,000 on his OFFICE having had to return $52,000 he claimed from the public purse for a flat he owns when a free home he turned down. Good enough for family at Christmas but not the rest of the year. Mr Bishop’s faulty memory about claiming rent . Seems he’s unfamiliar with his father in law. Ok for them to claim back all rent but screw the vulnerable for theirs.

      The government and its agencies have to blame someone for their own failure's. So give it a Māori name so it looks like the Maori did it. How long have the Maori be in control of the government agencies??? But it wouldn't fix anything if they were anyway. It seems everyone is out for them Selfs and there own interest. Not NZs.
