FYI, Ili-ili is a traditional Filipino lullaby that was included in the arrangement of this song.
I'm glad someone is shining a spotlight on Filipino talent. It never fails to amaze me that some of their acts haven't taken the world by storm. I suggest you react to their Wishbus live take of Together We Fly, their no. 1 single. Their finest hour in my opinion, with really complex layered harmonies.. They had 2 appearances. Watch the one where they are wearing blue. I think they are about 15 now and their voices are transitioning. I don't think they have made many appearances lately.

TNT is a singing contest on Its Showtime by ABS CBN. Elaine Duran, Sam Mangubat, and Gigi Se Lana are past contestants
TNTV means Tawag ng Tanghalan Versions. Tawag ng Tanghalan is a segment from a noontime show "It's Showtime". It is where TNT Boys competed on 2017 (Elaine Duran also came from this competition). TNTV is a channel whereTawag ng Tanghalan winners/singers gets to showcase their craft (like WishBus but in an actual studio). Actually TNT boys were not the champion during that time (only runners-up). They only rose to fame when Vice Ganda, the host from Show Time guested the 5 finalists of Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids in his show "Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV)" and asked the boys to do an impromtu performance/challenge of "Listen". That performance got viral and thus the birth of the TNT Boys. The actual champion was sick during that time so he wasn't able to join the 3 in the challenge.
Their Wish Bus USA perf of Together we Fly is one of the best and strongest vocals. ❤
TNT Boys "Too Much Heaven" by Begees.
That part that was àdded in the song is not tagalog but ilonggo langguage its a lullaby. If you remember their performance in the worlds best where they sang flashlight as their last song, supposed to be they will sing this song for the semi final. Theyve already practise and prepared for this. But for an unknown reason, someone in the show told them to change their song in the last minute. That is why Francis was very sad while singing flashlight. For they already anticipated the outcome. And they lost the semis.
That was an Ilonggo folk song featured in some local film....

They were supposed to sing this foe the finals of the The World's Best but was replaced by the program organizers at the last minute. At least, that's the story. Vice Ganda actually was the one who 'formed' the trio on his show. Watch it, too, GGV TNT Boys with Listen challenge.

TNT is tawag ng tanghalan .its a singing competition in abs-cbn..they compete its other for the kids edition..they were the 2nd 3rd&4th in the competetion. Gigi de lana sam mangubat and many more is also a product of such competetion adult edition.
TNT - "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" is a singing contest that happens everyday in a noon time show. Season 6 Just ended. and now TNT Duets is currently on going :) :) :) Try reacting on one of the contestants in TNT.

🥁🧯Great reaction. Btw, it's not Tagalog that they spoke, but one of the Visayan dialects. FYI, the Philippines, since it is composed of more than 7,000 islands, do have more than 65 dialects, others I believe said more than a hundred. There are times we don't understand each other if our neighbors speak a dialect that we don't know. That's why Tagalog and English is important to us since that is how we can understand each other if ever Filipinos from the north speak with Filipinos from the south. But it is still normal to see Filipinos who are conversant in English, Filipino and one (sometimes two) other dialect.

The song is called “ily ily” it is a popular visayan lullaby. If you remember, Alamat has a whole song named “ily ily”.
I think it ties together because the song is about dreams and “ily ily” is a lullaby that puts you to sleep.

It's a Visayan dialect not Tagalog. We speak so many languages here. You come to one province or city and you may hear another dialect in another city. 170+ actually. Anyway, thanks for this.

During their stint at the World's Best apparently Simon complained about them not showcasing "Filipino"... so this 'A Million Dream' was supposed to be their final piece, which they interspiced with a popular filipino lullaby.. only they were made to choose another song at the last minute, so they had 'Flashlight'.. they were heartbroken to realize it seemed some were pulling the plugs for them not to win.. that's why you could see their last performance was a bit halfhearted, even Mackie kept lowering his head allthrough out.
