Definitely looks and sounds like it has a cruiser feel
absolutely!
That's cause it is one . 🤣 . It's just a smaller engine , it's a cruiser design.
@@mehtaabsinghminhas2611 Yeah, Mehtaab. I know. We all know
it is a cruiser
@@Schaaf thank you for dis !!
This is why I enjoy watching Schaaf, because he rides the bike up to its limits. This was fun to watch man.
That and there's no music, voiceovers, or anything else. Just the sound of the exhaust and him riding. That's it.
Glad you guys enjoy! Thanks
@@Schaaf heyy man ride new RE Hunter
Its better than meteor‼️😍
He doesn’t really push it to its limits, I push mine way harder.
@@prithvirajjadhav5500 Hunter is nowhere near meteor comfort wise, dont kid yourself..., hunter is very similar other common bikes!!
This is one of the nicest motorcycle review videos I have seen. It's just like I am sitting pillion and riding with you! No BGM, No commentary, just the feel. Lovely.
Thanks
Totally agree
I'm so glad you did this. Royal Enfield bikes run in our family. I own a Bullet 350, brother owns a Classic 350 and uncle owns the Meteor 350. The engine on the Meteor and Classic is extremely refined compared to my Bullet. We go on weekend rides and find it extremely fun. 3 dude's with slow yet fun bikes. My uncle's son will soon be joining us to with the all new Royal Enfield Hunter 350. Build quality is solid as well for the price they're being offered at. Love your videos as usual.
That sounds fantastic! Thanks
Me too..
KTM runs in my family👪. (Family planning polio drop version photo(photo available only in India). My grandfather owns the duke 125,my sister has the rc 200,my dad has the duke 250,my brother the ktm 390 and I own the 1290 duke (We're not demons, we beasts). JUST KIDDING MATE. I've had more than 25 motorcycles during the years and now a proud owner of a Yellow Meteor 350 as shown in your video. Last years I've lost the pleasure of riding motorcycles and always were looking to the fun. For some it was no gears like a scooter but I hate the sound of it and not more than going from A to B. Some motorcycles had a lot of hp's and you need to get the adrenaline boost of fast riding or acceleration.
With the Royal Enfield I really really enjoy the riding itself. Just cruising. The bike always speak to me and tell me. Wim, I don't care if you open the throttle half or wide open. I won't go fast, simply because I can't. Enjoy the ride and if you are in a hurry or to late for an appointment, just pick up the phone and tell the person that you are to late, it's just that easy.
Love that bike and the spirit around. I can do short highway tracks if necessary. Faster than a truck, slower than a normal family car. Low fuel consumption 2,9lit/100km.
Top bike!
Thanks for sharing your story!!
Well said! It's exactly the same for me.
Idk how to explain, but it makes me feel peace, like a brake from all the work and having to go fast all the time during the week, we i get the time to ride on the weekengs, get out of the city, travel trough some back roads, feel the wind, the road, it brings peace, guess im crazy
Is it a custom exhaust? My meteor does not sound like that at all
Is it a custom exhaust? My meteor does not sound like that at all
One of the most comfortable and fun bikes I’ve ridden. You can go anywhere on one of these if you’re ok with 20hp and not going faster than 70mph. I test rode one and loved it, same lovely yellow, but ended up buying the Classic 350 bc I didn’t want another cruiser this time.
I'm very on the fence about it. I love the look of the classic 350, but the 70mph top speed kind of throws me off. Even my 1986 Rebel 250 could do 80... It just isn't great for US roads. Really limits where you can ride
@@pauld.b7129 Thus why I probably won’t keep it. If I had room for two bikes I would, but eventually I will need a faster bike again. Right now Enfields are available when a lot of other bikes aren’t. Dealers are overstocked with them right now. If I didn’t have one I’d definitely be looking at what’s coming out for 2023-24 because availability should be back to normal.
@@mindspinn311 yeah my local dealer has a Meteor for $4150 right now. Killer deal, but I'm just not sure I'd be happy with it. How's the acceleration feel? Is it at least peppy up to 60 or so? It seems like a great bike when it's in it's element.
@@pauld.b7129 No it’s only peppy in city environments or on empty back roads. You have to get used to how it makes speed. If you’re used to a normal bike it feels very slow at first. If you want 0-60 confidence you need a lighter bike with at least 40hp. Even the Honda CB300R is significantly quicker.
Nice! Classic is my favourite too!
I love my meteor. It’s a cold stormy day, this video made me smile. Thanks for posting 😊
Welcome!
Oh the fast part!! The cornering clearance is quite low on that motorcycle. And for good reason. But yes. Compared to the previous generation Royal Enflied engines, this is way more refined and fre-revving. I love the old world charm that it brings though. Anyways, Thanks for the video, Schaaf! Love from India!
Thanks from Austria!
One Of The Most Satisfying Relaxing Motorcycle Videos I Have Ever Enjoyed….❤

Hallo Schaaf!
Vergiss READY TO RACE...........
Klingt ausgezeichnet!
Waited so looonngggg for this ….!!!!!
cool!
I sure wish I could shift as well as you do. What a good ride!
Das war unglaublich, ich liebe deinen Kanal.

I have been looking at these with keen interest. The price of the bike is amazing, there are more expensive new 125cc bikes out there....Im glad you gave it a good review, there seems to be lot of love for RE bikes these days!
Deservingly
Im learning how to drive manual so I could buy me one of these. Watching your every hand movements was a delight. Im learning a lot.
Glad to hear that
Was going through my favorite doses of Schaaf awesomeness and got notification of a new video!! Oh what a good day!!
Honestly, due to my riding skills (lack of, rather), slower bikes tend to be more enjoyable and that is mainly why we ride. I love the videos like this. This bike gives vibes of the old Nighthawk 250, but it sounds better and I would be money it has better brakes!! 🤣
thanks a lot JD
Nice video as usual, thank you Schaaf ;)
No bother!
I just bought a 2022 Classic 350 and I love its little personality!

This is the only channel where I am happy during the ads.
Nice!
who needs to race when you can cruise :D
Looked and sounded like a lovely care free fun machine for slower paces
Thanks
This is my dream bike, especially in that gorgeous yellow. I'm ironing out all the beginners mistakes on a beat-up 125 this year, looking to do my DAC next year and hopefully pick up one of these beauties.
Go for it!
I have a 3 year old meteor and recently I decided to go for a faster bike and try some offroad as well and got the new triumph Scrambler 400x. The plan was to sell the meteor but when the calls started coming I could not let go of the meteor. The slow pace relaxed riding is just something else. So now I own both.
I like your video, you don't talk all over the video, I get to experience the ride with you and best of all I get to hear her purr! I'm looking at getting the Stellar from the same family. But for now, I'm previewing it through your video, so Thanks! Ride Safe Peace.

True that
Hi Schaaf, Absolutely Love Your Videos, infact one of my favourite videos on this channe is the meteor 350, interceptor 650 and the hayabusa ones. I was curious to ask a question, Whether royal enfield still has the stellar custom black colour for the meteor 350 abroad, here in India, they discontinued it last year, and according to our dealership the last stellar black custom is with me only because here in india people didnt bought the colour as it had a waiting period of 1 month and extra booking amount if compared to others as well. Would really appreciate if you replied. Also, Love from INDIA.
Edit: Would also like to know what was the top speed of your meteor 350, as some youtubers in india say they got it around 105Kmph, then the others are saying they got it around 140-150Kmph, meanwhile mine only goes around 125Kmph
Super meteor 650 has just been launched today❤
I've tried this bike in a Auto Exhibition in Indonesia and for god sake, this is the first time i rode a bike this heavy. (Honestly, i never tried a motorbike more than 270cc, especially the cruiser type). Suprisingly, the low-end torque is actually very good for a 350cc Single, and yes the sound from the exhaust is quite relaxing for me, especially when cruisin' on a quiet winding roads. I would say, it is a nice motorbike i've riden.
The low end torque is excellent, i often find myself cruising in just 50-60kmph on the 5th gear with such ease
Sounds good
Greaaaat sound!!! I wanna hear it in the 350 Hunter!!!!
Thanks
Thanks.

One of my many considerations for my first street legal bike young lad from. United States specifically Kansas
certainly a great choice!
@Schaaf I may be young I just don't care about speed or being fast
I think you need to jump on my dads RE classic 500 tribute with a custom exhaust, sounds rather brilliant
Would love to
Which country bro, amazing video
Edit: Question: between the Meteor and the Classic, which one did you enjoy the most when cornering? A lot of people say the Meteor has an easier handling than the Classic but I would like to know your opinion.
And thanks for these delightful riding videos! Greetings from Chile
they were similarly easy to handle and I prefer the Classic because of its ergonomics and looks
@@Schaaf nice, those two things are exactly what I like the most from the classic. Thanks man!!!
Schaaf, did you hear in the video a litte buzz every time you break? IDK if it's something normal since I've only ridden basic bikes with no more than 200cc
Hi brother, just wanted to ask that will doing engine braking with rev matching on this bike hurt it's engine pr gearbox ever? Like I'm concerned because company says that 3rd to 2nd shift should be done on below 30 kmph speeds, but with engine braking we usually do it in 40 45 kmph also.....i just wanted to ask that it will not harm my motorcycle right....?
Hey Schaaf, I use your backpack "method" for sound recording with Zoom H1. Any advice for sound settings on the device ? My recordings seems having so much little noises and its like coming from deep...
Just make it louder in post production
please review royal enfield hunter 350 too

Ohhh, what a nice road, we dont have nice paviments were i live (Brasil), meteor 350 slaps tho, i have one, and i love it

Hey Schaaf, when driving faster your not using the clutch? Just curious if i see that right in a beginner
Please make video on super meteor 650 please
a 650 cc is about to come for this model as well!
nice!
I am a proud Meteor 350 owner from India 😌
You drove so well and cornered amazingly with great confidence !
But I heard some sound at 8:02, did it's footpeg scratch due to the more twisty corner ?
Yes!
@@Schaaf hi! Is there a solution about the pegs? Im planning to have this bike
Sir I fail difficulty in releasing the clutch while starting the bike it stop as sometime i release it fast some time slow. Any suggestion plz.

Is this bike good for touring? I've been considering this but I wasn't really sure about it. I also don't have the chance to test drive one since the dealership near me doesn't have a test unit. Ther ergonomics work well for me though, just not sure if it's as fun as a touring bike. Like multiple day rides or something.
If anyone has toured on a meteor 350, it'd be nice if you could give a feedback. Also, what modifications did you do to suit the touring job. Thanks!
Great video, i love the pure sound of the bikes. Makes me feel like I'm the one riding. Keep the great content coming!
What country do you live in and what's the speed limit?? I'm considering the bike as well, but it tops out at 70mph, it's kind of a deal breaker for me. The engine would tour great at 60mph it seems, but in the US there's not many places to ride at 60mph or less.
@@pauld.b7129 I'm in the Philippines. Express ways here have a 400cc minimum and you can go pretty fast at around 90mph, but scenic routes don't have engine restrictions and are usually twisty. I kinda dig Royal Enfields because they're relatively cheap to operate and maintain. We have Japanese bikes here that are really good but I like the classic styling of the meteor.
@@Grovreicraynth It's amazingly comfortable, even without any modifications. At most, you might want to get the touring seat that RE offers, which is a little more padded to increase comfort for long hours. If you're a very tall person, you might end up finding this motorcycle a little oddly low. I would suggest taking a look at the Honda CB350 too (if it is available), it has similar characteristics and styling but is a little more neutral in terms of the seating and spacing.
Thanks for sharing your insights guys

Thanks for the video! It showed exactly what I was looking for: how it handles sharp turns. I live in a mountainous region of Switzerland and didn't know if it would be good for these conditions but now I see it is! By the way, what gear were you in when you made these turns? Second gear?
