My marimba arrangement of "Undertale" from the game Undertale. Undertale was created by Toby Fox. This arrangement was recorded in the Chapel at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. A big thank you to Trinity for letting me record here, as well as to Toby for making Undertale!

Hey, Doug Perry, I don't know if you are going to read this but if you do I would like you to know that you have helped me pick a very difficult decision, im just a 14 year old boy living in portugal not knowing if he should go to music or agriculture because here you have to pick what you want to do with your life at the age of 14 and you have just clarified this for me so thank you so much for this and i will not forget how my life changed just by watching your video thank you very much good bye.

As someone only beginning to understand 4 mallet technique, this is outstanding!! I love how much expression you put into everything you play. Those upstrokes at 2:45 tho :O

Not a professional marimbist (more of a professional mathemagician/actuary), so...my new goal for any of my recordings is to make sure I've got a cat tank top on... (One of them is a Schrodinger's cat joke, and the other (so far) says "vaguely aware of social norms."
As a real recommendation for video game music performances in the future, though, surely there are Undertale shirts you can get :)

Yeah if you've not seen the marimba much before, you can DEFINITELY jump in and listen to this, Moon Chasers, Moon, etc. for some nice soothing sounds.

I was looking for marimba solos and duets for my next concert and I was so happy to find this! I love undertale and wanted to listen. It sounds very lovely, but I won't be able to play it (we only have a 4.5-octave marimba and this uses those super low Cs ;-;)
When I found this my jaw dropped. I have never been so happy to play something in my whole life.

I love this arrangement so much! I've devoted a lot of time into it and I would recommend it to any budding mallet percussionist! I would love some mallet recommendations though as I don't have a whole lot of experience choosing the proper mallets for ensembles. Thanks a bunch!
