  • Graham Blackledge gets his first play on the Casio PXS7000 Digital Piano (at a Casio training seminar in Leeds) and gives you a sneak demonstration & review whilst at Casio trainers are having lunch! - Well done Graham!
This is the first time I have seen the Casio PXS-7000 and I couldn't wait to have a go and needed to show you! - To have wooden keys in a new hybrid key action is amazing for this price point and the new modern image for this piano make it look beautiful. Available in a shiny black, white or harmonious mustard colours, they have designed something a bit different for you. The key action is nice and responsive, the cabinet is nice a slim and can easily be moved or taken off the stand if you need to. The stand has four legs and the pedalboard has a lovely almost hovering look to it. I think they look great! You have 400 sounds to play with, new piano sounds and some sounds designed to copy specific artist pianos too. You can plug a mic in and have a full effects unit. You can also use it on batteries or mains, and connect it to the 'Casio Music Space' App for sound edit features, songs and much more. The 32 watt speaker system over four speakers are ample and have modes to get the best sound if you have it against the wall, or middle of a room or on a table for example. They seem to have thought of everything here. With full Bluetooth MIDI & Bluetooth Audio as well as USB sockets you have a great controller keyboard here in addition to an awesome portable or home digital piano. I think this digital piano is an ideal home or portable piano in one and excellent value.

Crickey, it has been a while. You won’t remember me; I used to play for Rimmers in St Georges Centre, Preston.
Aye, Andy would come on a Saturday morning and help me take our EL90 down there, never could convince him to let me have the US-1 just one time though ha.
Great to see you still have the good old repertoire Graham, I think I recall you helping me setup a 7/4 beat on an HX-1 in Leyland a LONG time ago. Hey, it got my name on the Rimmers Cup though :-)
Hi to Gary and the team, hope all is well!

I just recently bought a Casio PX-S3100. Beautiful instrument with a nice piano sound, but this newer range really looks like something. No doubt I'll upgrade once I actually learn how to play the thing. 😂
Still wishing I'd just went all out from the gate!

Yes - It would be good for home use, stage or as a controller keyboard too I think.. Kindest regards Graham

I have one . Although the keys feel good and real the keyboard makes an insane amount of key noise and vibration after just a few months of not much playing really . Sounds are mediocre

I have one, too. Keys feel great, the keybed is very quiet, and the sounds are fabulous. Not sure why your experience is different.

I have one of these and the I've found the sound can be very good if you pick appropriate settings (ie wall mode when it is placed next to wall -makes a big difference). On Headphones it sounds absolutely amazing to me.
