Have you tried making anti-roll bars? I wanted to try out a suspension design and also successfully implemented F&R ARBs - they sit inside of the suspension.
All I know is axles tend to be better in terms of a solid connection. but they have to be tungston and I had to duplicate the axles inside themselves a few times. I havent tried actuators, they've had a glitchy past and seem to be even weaker.
I appreciate the shit out of someone that shows the building side of this game in their vids. Underrated as fuck imo.
I have lots of old suspension from before the UI facelift update that fit this style of building. I should get back into it.
