My wife had a Pinto when we got married, it really was a pretty good driving lil car, ours was pretty rough and we never Thank God got rear ended! Bad about breaking a timing belt which ended ours, not sure her dad put the timing belt on right when he replaced it, he was a old Chevy DIY mechanic and didn’t like Fords at all🤣😂🤣😂

Why stick a Pinto badge on that? I would think from the stigma of the Pinto that would hinder sales.

Agreed, There's no way in hell Ford would use that name plate again on a production model.

I had a Pinto back in the 70s. I never had any issues with the engine or transmission. The body was so rusty that you could see through one door and out the other.

Pinto? Why bring back such sad lousy memories with that name? Call it the Torino!
On another note, this will never be produced... Ford doesn't make cars anymore.
