This video was really encouraging for me. I’m going through something difficult in my life right now and it feels like God is so far away… But I need to remember to be grateful because I have so much to be thankful for. Anyway, you have such a glow in this video and it really inspired me. I love your authenticity ❤

Thank you so much for your continuous support! My heart goes out to you, struggling w/ anxiety & obsessive thinking is such a difficult hardship. Let me encourage you that things will get better with time, it takes a lot of patience & being gentle with yourself. Most of it is out of habits, which is talked about in that podcast episode I recommended!

Make sure u have no willful sin in your life. If the Holy Spirit is quenched, grieved, or vexed it will create distance from God. "Do not grieve, quench, nor vex the Holy Spirit of God." (Bible) Another thing is if we don't have enough quality alone time with God our minds become starved of God according to My Utmost For His Highest. This will cause distance between us and God. We must keep our minds off of our problems and keep them fixed on God and Jesus. "Abide in Me. Apart from Me u can do nothing." (John 15) I suggest an awesome book by Christian scientist Dr Caroline Leaf called "Who Switched Off My Brain." She explains how negative and toxic thinking and stress affects our entire bodies and lives. I'm on chapter 3 right now. The book is fascinating. It clearly explains why Jesus told us in the Bible "not to worry about our lives." She explains how to break our cycle of negative thinking and stress. Hope this helps. May God be with you!

Sorry for all the comments I just had one more thing I wanted to say because I relate to everything you’re saying 😅 I struggle with anxiety and obsessing over situations. I’m pretty sure I cause my own anxiety most of the time. It’s hard to break the cycle. I can’t even make phone calls without obsessing over how I talk and sound to the other person. Sometimes I work myself up so much I feel like I need to throw up. I’m definitely going to listen to the podcasts you suggested

12:41 I encourage you in this direction of spiritual development by self-reflecting. It really is man's most important quality in life...

I would recommend trying an ashwagandha dietary supplement to help the nervous system better tackle the anxiety. Studies have shown that one month's usage assists in building a lasting resilience.

Agreed. I've been taking it for 2-3 weeks and I can tell a big difference in how I feel. The bottle says the full effects are reached within 10 weeks.

I see that you believe in a immaterial being. Do you have any evidence that this being exists? I believed for more that 50 years and discovered that there are no evidence for a god, specially the Christian god. So, why do you accept this belief to be true or even posible? I ask you because listing to you It seems that you believe because this is what you was told all your life.

I believe in God firstly because I have felt his presence, heard his voice, & seen his work in my life. There are many books, articles, research, etc. showing that the Bible is historically accurate & that Jesus Christ did walk on this earth. I am sorry to hear you are no longer a believer, I pray that God will speak to your heart.

@@JaraDouse do you know who wrote the gospels and when were they written? I recommend you to study out of the box and see if what you have been taught is the truth. This is what made me realize that it’s all fiction and emotional feeding. Listen to those that are not bias . I recommend Dr. Bart Ehrman or the channel Mythvision. You will discover that Jesus is a Myth and why was he created. If you are confident that your belief is true then you have nothing to fear challenging it. Maybe it will confirm what you are experiencing. And don’t waist time praying, If “god” knows everything and everything goes according to his will. Praying in a wast of time, what “god” has determined will happen pray or not pray. Good luck in your journey.

I recommend that you go to a park, sit down, and really study and think deeply about everything you see. Really concentrate on it with your entire mind. Study every little detail you can find. God is in all of it. God is life. He created it all. It didn't just exist on its own. Nothing living exists nor can ever exist without God. Without God everything dies instantly. Just as "Jesus cursed the fig tree. It immediately dried up and died." (Bible) "God is evident by all the things He created, that He exists, so those who deny Him are without excuse." (Bible) "Come to Me as a little child or you shall by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven." (Matthew 18) What do children do? They believe. Also, there are no dead unbelievers. All those who are now on the other side are believers, regardless of whether they went to Heaven or Hell. So many people say "I don't believe Hell exists." That will not prevent them from going there. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me." (John 14:6)

@@sl4x372 with all respect let me correct all the problems with your assumptions. Do you know what a false dichotomy, a fallacy and cognitive bias is?
You start with looking at the trees to see a god. You see a god because you have a god concept first and then you look for confirmation. This is called cognitive bias or confirmation bias.
Then you say; “ god is in all of it, god is life. He created it all. It didn’t just exist on it’s own “
Here you are claiming something you have no idea is true. You have reduced the possibilities to one option and dismiss all other options. This is called a false dichotomy. In reality a god is not even a option. The reason things exist has infinite explanation. Do you know the explanation? No, but filling the blank with a god is not a explanation. In reality you can fill it with any assertion.
Then you say; “god is evident by all the things he created.”
This is a fallacy because it give a property to something that has not been proved. First you need to prove that the thing you are talking about was created. Here’s the fallacy because you use the word created in order to insert a “creator”. But it’s a false dichotomy as well, because assuming it was created, a god is not the only option.
      Then you mention “John 14-6”
The first problem with this is that the story of John was written in the second century. Who ever wrote this was writing about something that maybe was told or he just made it up for his story. This is not John the disciple.
We know that Mark was the first story written and that it was written 40 to 50 years after the death of this Jesus figure. Plus we have no idea who wrote the 4 Jesus stories. But John was written 100 years after the claims.
So what do you have to back the claims? Paul?
Paul is late as well and he never met the Jesus. Paul is the first to write about this figure but twenty to thirty years after his death.
So we have no writings from anyone that knew the Jesus, no writing from external figures at the time of the events, we don’t know who wrote the stories of the Jesus and what we know is that they where written decades after the event in discussion. That the book called the bible is full of false dichotomy and fallacy’s and that the main character has no evidence that he did what the book claims he did.
Sorry but after studying and discovering that this book is not what the believers claim it is. I have no reason to take it as valid. For me it’s fiction as all religions. But for believers, false dichotomy, fallacy’s and confirmation bias will always bypass their problem to separate fiction from reality.

@@explorergt8640 you quote a book written by men that is full of tall tails and fiction. Why should anyone take this book seriously. A book that supports slavery, genocide, eternal torture. A blood cult created by ignorant superstitious people. This book has been the control element for the people in power. It’s a tool of control. So why should anyone take this book seriously?
