I love the shades in this palette, I really do, but I think too many are too similar. Every look is identical. Even though you were using completely different shades on each eye, when you do your final looks, it looks like one eye look instead of two😯. Like you could just walk out of the house with those two different eye looks, and most people probably wouldn’t see that you used different shades and techniques on each eye-that’s how similar the shades are! Maybe it looks different in person? I adore cool tones, so I’m not scratching it of my list, but these demos have reigned in my impulse to buy it immediately. This is why your demos are so helpful! Agree. To me its like the emperor's clothes. Don't see much variety in this palette and not enough depth. Been watching the reviews. The looks are pretty but way too similar to each other.

I've seen videos of this palette on people with a variety of different skin tones and I don't really feel anyone's been able to make a look that looks drastically different at this point. Just feels like it could've been either edited down to 5-10 pans or had more variety of shades added.

I have missed your reviews so much! You are the Queen of Application. I just got this palette but haven't had a chance to play. I have watched every other review of this palette that I could find. But I'm on look 2, and so far nobody has applied these with the sheer elegance that you have. I love what you're doing with this palette. You've given me so many ideas. And I always use shadow as liner. But if I want more bang for my brush, I have other palettes with great liner shades that I can grab. The looks Natasha did are lovely on 20 year old girls. But that heavy liner doesn't work in the real world for most occasions. Thanks for the video. Beautiful on you. 💚

I definitely think you get similar looks, but they are gorgeous. Personally I think the palette is great everyday one when using a light hand, but equally great to create night time looks too. The color story looks beautiful on you. Great review!

I opened Rose Quartz, and that’s definitely more mauve/eggplant. The shimmers and metallics run more pink/lavender/slate and the mattes more like the shades found in Lila.

I'm going WAY back with this reference, but I don't usually wear neutral-cool and if I do it's more green-brown. Anyway this reminds me of the old LORAC pro palettes. Specifically the white one. I loved the taupe-mauve tones. The pans were so tiny I actually had two! If you really loved a shade you were like hunting down dupes. 🧐

Perfect first in the morning video! Love these looks and I definitely want this but will wait for one of the major sales. Interestingly, these looks and effects reminds me of what I can get from my favorite Tom Ford quads, namely Nude Dip. Love these seemingly simple looks which deliver amazing glamor and sophistication on the eye ❤!

I want this palette mainly for the simplicity. I don’t have glam yet which I feel would add depth to this newer release. Love the looks but I think this Nude palette lends itself to mainly one and done looks this fall/winter.
Thanks for posting this! This might be a weird observation but this feels like a light-skinned version of Moonlit Seduction? Like the two rosy shades are paler versions of the PMG mattes, delilah reminded me of the grey shimmer shade and the wet look shades could be like blitz venus/the sparkly white shade?
I'm so tempted to buy this palette! Every time I see it online I am so attracted to it! However, I feel like a couple of colors just too similar within the palette. I know they're not exact but definitely look similar at least on camera & in photos on different sites & different skin tones. Am I crazy? Alicia, you always do a wonderful job making it so we can see how all shadows look & perform - but honestly I feel like with all of the different shades & textures you used on each eye - they both look very much alike in the end. I'm bummed cuz so much of it is gorgeous...just can't justify the price for the similarities...
Hi Alicia I overall love the color story of this palette but I think it's kind of a one trick pony eyeshadow palette. Though your looks turned out beautifully they also look the same. I don't know how I feel about it 🤔 I think it could be condensed to a five pan. This also gives me divine rose one vibes. So maybe it's a pass... HELP 😅

For a moment...just a moment... I thought you hadn't realised all your looks were very samey. But I'm glad you said it. Was intrigued by how this would come across on our deeper complections and its totally different to how it appears on other skin tones like Patty Alonso. Please share an all rose tone look without smoke or taupe for us if you can. Really not sure if I can see enough of that from this palette so far.
I'm very pale and I'm super excited about this palette cause it looks perfect for my coloring (or lack thereof). I was worried this wouldn't show up on deeper skin tones, so glad I was wrong!

I loved this review, your analysis and discussions around shade combos always inspire me. I’m not going to rush out for this one. I’ll pick up the mini star instead as it appears to give similar looks. I love my mini nude and I have been hoping ND would do a midi nude palette, so I will wait until it goes on sale.

Natasha read the room perfectly, even with this line going back several years. To release it at this particular moment when everybody is looking for or going for these taupee/nude looks. Definitely a pass but you look fantastic lady! I've got the nude pallet from huda that's similar & prettier to me. I didn't get the glam pallet either, just dull. The zendo, bronze, sunrise, metropolitan all are my ❤️
@aliciaarcher i just looked it up, it's called the rose quartz. I bought the next huda one as well, mercury retrograde. What I'm having a hard time with though is the metropolitan, the brown shades on the bottom row. Will you please tell me what kind of brush to use for them? The shades are so soft/ I can't get them to pickup on my brush

Hey Alicia. After watching this video, i finally purchased my first Natasha Denona palette. this brand has intrigued me for quite some time. I still need to get the Bronzed palette for sure. it's a tossup between the Biba or the Metropolis. Thank you for the review on this. I feel a little more confident with my decision to purchase this palette. I feel your skin tone match me in some ways. therefore, I can see myself wearing this because i am a nude gal by nature. When wearing these colors what color lipstick goes well with this palette? Mauve, Pinky Rose etc...
I would love to see this one and Glam working together. Or see you making completely different looks with this palette. Can't wait to see what you come up with on the members channel. I will probably end up buying this one anyway. Even if all the looks from it look the same 😛
Thanks for the demo! I've been debating on whether to get this or not. All the demos seem to look very similar so I'm still on the fence! Haha! With that said - I'll probably cave and still get it. I'm older (59) so I think the lighter colors will do well as I age. I'm not doing smokey eyes or crazy colors like I used to.
So well presented Alicia. THIS is the first ND palette I am 100% on board for since the bronze palette came out. Im so excited for this to arr in the UK.
I don't want to sound like a nerd, but the palette is bad. If you have this palette as one of dozens, it's okay. Good quality and all that. But I don't want a separate room for cosmetics. I want a few palettes and that's it. And what can I do with this palette? Basically one or two make-up looks. On Alicia, it all blended together. You couldn't tell the difference in person! 15 colours for one or two makeups? You can do it with four shadows. Why are there so many of the same shades? There's two that are just the same! The glittery shades on the eyelids are no different in person. I realise the palette is nude, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be variation. No cool shades, no chips. You can do this make-up with any palette, even the cheapest one. She could have added nudes with a wet effect, black, accent colours. But no. I'm a fan of Natasha and all the shades I have are from her, but this concept that she often has - 15 shades for 2-3 make-up looks - makes me tired. I love Natasha and she is a talent who has given us great products. But I hope someone tells her that she needs to refine her colour story. Most people don't complain, they just don't buy. And in the end, without constructive criticism, brands die.
I knew you would pick it up. I will have to wait a few weeks to get it here in Ireland, definite buy for me. Just actually bought the Yucca palettes, was on the fence with that one normally not a lover of green but it leaned more on the gold side.

I like it but have to see it in person--I gave in and purchased the GLAM PALETTE and I never used it because I didn't totally love it-so kept like maybe two colors from it to re-palette and the rest was "decluttered" so to speak. I am waiting for UPS to show up at my door sometime today because my palette is out for delivery 😅😅😅🥰🥰 This is my first ND palette and when I first saw this palette on her website I got excited and took advantage of Sephora rouge perks btw it's out of stock on their website since yesterday. I really want this palette…it gives me that same excitement I had for divine rose from PML. I kind of still want it but it has too many light matte shades for my skin tone. Glam will have to be the neutral ND palette for me 😢. But those shimmers are so great.

The shades more interesting in pan than on the eye to me. The shimmers look very similar and looks you can get will appears to look very similar.

Yes, Glam has more medium shades in both the mattes and metallics.

For a moment...just a moment... I thought you hadn't realised all your looks were very samey. But I'm glad you said it. Was intrigued by how this would come across on our deeper complections and its totally different to how it appears on other skin tones like Patty Alonso. Please share an all rose tone look without smoke or taupe for us if you can. Really not sure if I can see enough of that from this palette so far.
I'm very pale and I'm super excited about this palette cause it looks perfect for my coloring (or lack thereof). I was worried this wouldn't show up on deeper skin tones, so glad I was wrong!

You describe shades and textures perfectly and you mention the little details that matter (Ella looks darker in the pan than it does on the eye).
And it’s always helpful to get tips on ways to pair the shades outside the rows and columns.

I loved this review, your analysis and discussions around shade combos always inspire me. I’m not going to rush out for this one. I’ll pick up the mini star instead as it appears to give similar looks. I love my mini nude and I have been hoping ND would do a midi nude palette, so I will wait until it goes on sale.

Natasha read the room perfectly, even with this line going back several years. To release it at this particular moment when everybody is looking for or going for these taupee/nude looks. I know I have! I stopped myself from buying the Mac pallet, but when I saw this, I just had to have it. I haven’t bought a Natasha Denona Palette in probably about two years. Definitely a pass but you look fantastic lady! I've got the nude pallet from huda that's similar & prettier to me. I didn't get the glam pallet either, just dull. The zendo, bronze, sunrise, metropolitan all are my ❤️

@aliciaarcher i just looked it up, it's called the rose quartz. I bought the next huda one as well, mercury retrograde. What I'm having a hard time with though is the metropolitan, the brown shades on the bottom row. Will you please tell me what kind of brush to use for them? The shades are so soft/ I can't get them to pickup on my brush

Hey Alicia. After watching this video, i finally purchased my first Natasha Denona palette. this brand has intrigued me for quite some time. I still need to get the Bronzed palette for sure. it's a tossup between the Biba or the Metropolis. Thank you for the review on this. I feel a little more confident with my decision to purchase this palette. I feel your skin tone match me in some ways. therefore, I can see myself wearing this because i am a nude gal by nature. When wearing these colors what color lipstick goes well with this palette? Mauve, Pinky Rose etc...

Thanks for the demo! I've been debating on whether to get this or not. All the demos seem to look very similar so I'm still on the fence! Haha! With that said - I'll probably cave and still get it. I'm older (59) so I think the lighter colors will do well as I age. I'm not doing smokey eyes or crazy colors like I used to.
So well presented Alicia. THIS is the first ND palette I am 100% on board for since the bronze palette came out. Im so excited for this to arr in the UK.
I don't want to sound like a nerd, but the palette is bad. If you have this palette as one of dozens, it's okay. Good quality and all that. But I don't want a separate room for cosmetics. I want a few palettes and that's it. And what can I do with this palette? Basically one or two make-up looks. On Alicia, it all blended together. You couldn't tell the difference in person! 15 colours for one or two makeups? You can do it with four shadows. Why are there so many of the same shades? There's two that are just the same! The glittery shades on the eyelids are no different in person. I realise the palette is nude, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be variation. No cool shades, no chips. You can do this make-up with any palette, even the cheapest one. She could have added nudes with a wet effect, black, accent colours. But no. I'm a fan of Natasha and all the shades I have are from her, but this concept that she often has - 15 shades for 2-3 make-up looks - makes me tired.
I love Natasha and she is a talent who has given us great products. But I hope someone tells her that she needs to refine her colour story. Most people don't complain, they just don't buy. And in the end, without constructive criticism, brands die.
I knew you would pick it up. I will have to wait a few weeks to get it here in Ireland, definite buy for me. Just actually bought the Yucca palettes, was on the fence with that one normally not a lover of green but it leaned more on the gold side.

I like it but have to see it in person--I gave in and purchased the GLAM PALETTE and I never used it because I didn't totally love it-so kept like maybe two colors from it to re-palette and the rest was "decluttered" so to speak. I do DO DO love the "I NEED A NUDE LIPSTICKS/LINERS" I love how they feel on-I used both AMOROSA and NATASHA all the way down-so will repurchase the lipsticks soon... ty for a great review-the last look-GUSH!

I really want this palette…it gives me that same excitement I had for divine rose from PML. I kind of still want it but it has too many light matte shades for my skin tone. Glam will have to be the neutral ND palette for me 😢. But those shimmers are so great.
