Dave approaching this like a Mario game and not an action game is going to give him endless frustration, I can tell lol First major boss fight and he's mentally in the wrong genre entirely. Mario games don't have much in the way of "Respect the boss, wait for an opening, punish opening, do NOT over-punish, get back to safety, don't be greedy." This aint Mario anymore, Dave, my boy. This is a Kingdom Hearts secret boss.

As soon as I saw the Koopa boss’ shell, I instantly screamed out Ninja Turtle. I’m glad it paid off

Dave did swear once in his early mm2 video. He released the video didn't realise he swore and quickly deleted and reuploaded it. he even apologized for it in the video title. Hate to bring it up but it's true lol. I love dave either way.

And I also remember BTG playing wiggler bros. and it was as hilarious and as insane as this game. And so I'd like to see how Dave will play it too... I love how BTG commented wiggler bros., but for my opinion Dave is much better player at mario games than Darby. But I'm still interested how will Dave play wiggler bros. and will he like it and/or enjoy it.

This seems to answer the question what if Mario was made by the Cho Aniki guys.
You could see cracks forming on the shell when he jumped on the Koopa. None formed from fireballs.

Lemmy's the one with the circus ball and is the youngest and one of the shortest of the Koopalings.
Iggy is the crazy one of the Koopalings, he's often depicted as one of the tallest Koopalings and wears glasses.
In early artwork, they had nearly identical hair, though in the newer games, they gave Iggy a small tuft of green hair (imo, makes him look like a vegetable) to differentiate him from Lemmy.

I don't think the fire is useless against the boss, but it does WAY less damage, just like in regular mario games. It just feels even weaker in this fangame because the bosses have a much bigger health pool.
Edit: Nevermind, the shell is definitely not cracking to the fireballs ^^'

Did anyone else want for Dave to trying jumping with the star against that Goomba boss? It just looked like he got stunned lock because the Goomba was hitting the ground jumping seemed like such a simple solution.
He tries it at 6:01 and it doesn't work.

There was also one attempt where he jumped in mid-air and the stun lock still took him right down -- in other words, the stun lock will have affect on mario no matter where he is...

The Goombas have been on the same workout method for over 30 years...walking slowly to the left. You should do that more often.

The Akatsuki Koopa Troopa with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle was gold
Looks like they used the same AI as they did for megaman X (though simpler) for the bosses. Its not a preprogrammed pattern, the AI has odds of doing this or that and its somewhat dependent on player position. Mortal kombat 3 AI can be manipulated not sure about that AI.

Shockingly cool. It's like an upgraded version of SMB, just for veterans. From my view, it's definitely possible to maneuver the gimmick of each enemy and not play the coward's form of extermination.
