Hey everyone, I know that this thing got some negative feedback from CZcamsrs but to my honest opinion it's the best real MIDI guitar I have tried.
If you try to play on it as a standard guitar it might not work well for you, but once I thought of its "strings" as rays of light everything went smoothly and I actually managed to record a full cover with it!

Take a chill pill, dude. With that kind of thinking, we wouldn’t have electric guitars, organs, keyboards, or any of the other cool stuff that has been invented over the years. Everything would be analog (if you will) and only live performances or microphone recordings would be the norm. Keep your mind open to possibilities, dude.

So I got this MIDI guitar to do a video.
I saw few videos on CZcams before trying it out, some by friends of mine, and all of them had a really negative opinion about it.
I decided to give it a try anyway.
I think that a lot of wrong was done to this instrument by reviewers, and many didn’t understand the potential it has.
First, it’s a MIDI controller in the shape and format of a guitar. Approaching it as a guitar is wrong.
Second, it’s an educational tool. It has silicone wires on the fretboard instead of strings so it will be soft and easy for beginners to play, and it comes with an app that shows you where to press to learn a song (in this video I just play and the light is just following my pressing on the silicone wires).
Third: Sound: It’s MIDI - You can have any sound you want.
My conclusion is to always try it yourself to have your own opinion that is right for you.
I agree, there is a lot of potential in this guitar with amps.
You could probably make amp sambles that would make it sound like most guitars, maybe even other instruments.
hello, do you think this aeroband guitar could be used to trigger the auto-accompagnement on an arranger keyboard? I have osteoarthritis in my hands and cant play guitar anymore this looks easy for the fingers?

midi guitar, but I see it like a cyberpunk guitar, without strings on the neck but when pressed it can sound in a different tone like a guitar in general, cool Mr Ochaion
From other reviews about this product it doesn't seem promisning, just comes to show that Kfir can make anything sound good :)

Midi Guitar is to a Guitar what a keyboard is to a piano. unique sound, playful, and kinda interesting. Overall not the same thing. More like a toy than a musical instrument. Love to watch you play anything though! You are the best!
Finally someone recognizing this synthesizer is not anything like a guitar. Other than the shape and playing style, it’s just another keyboard. A toy guitar that I hope stays a toy and doesn’t cheapen what real guitar playing is about.
Kfir, being and exquisite guitarist, isn’t taking this thing seriously either. Just a novelty synthesizer.

I really like this sound! it's quiet but still powerful enough to give chills, for me at least. I like the other covers you do as well, but this one is pretty neat to say the least. Maybe you could do some songs from How to Train Your Dragon, on this instrument perhaps?

Please tell me if there is any setting for better tracking. I play quite cleanly, but I can still hear ghost notes. I don't like playing with the palm of my hand, as if I could hear the e6 getting in the way. Or a special way of playing must be used.

What strings are installed on this guitar and what should I do if a string breaks?
On the picking side you have actual strings. Most likely they won’t break because you just softly picking them. On the fretboard you have silicone wires that you just press. They don’t move at all.

I still prefer a real guitar as some of the notes seem to lag a bit, nice sound and well played but no way sounding better than a real guitar in my books.
I hope they paid you well because this sounded like an amateur keyboardist. It doesn’t sound like a guitar. If you brought this to a live show, the applause would be like, “I hope that’s the last song with that thing”. It would be a golf-clap.
