    Mare Nostrum, Mundus Noster, Our Sea, Our World - Refugees Crossing the Mediterranean and the Humanitarian Response
    Guests include:
    - Christopher Hein, Director of the Italian Council for Refugees;
    - Flavio Di Giacomo, Public Information Officer and Spokesperson for the International Organization for Migration Coordination Office for the Mediterranean in Rome
    - Beat Schuler, Senior Protection Officer (Legal) United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

    War, displacement, and economic instability are driving larger numbers of people to abandon their homes in places like Syria, Eritrea, and Mali, and to seek refuge in Europe. This dialogue aims to explore the issues surrounding immigration, how it affects people on the ground, what the perception of Italian citizens is on immigration, and what efforts the Italian and EU governments are making to aid these refugees.
