Why do people obsess over such things? First, he has to be brought back and booked before there is a booking photo. Second, some agencies don't routinely release booking photos before a person is convicted. Third, his name has been released. Fourth, his photo is available online if you just have a little patience and take the time to look for it.
His trial will be open to the public. If you have to see him, you may attend the trial.

While it is great news that he has been identified, it is concerning that the statute of limitations can be "removed." How about writing the law to specify limitations for various situations, rather than deciding at some future time if there will be one.

This should provide some comfort for the survivor. With him in prison, she won’t have to spend the rest of her life fearing that she may run into him again somewhere. She had no way of knowing he lived in another state; he could have been someone local. Justice delayed, for sure, but at least now he’ll be locked up. I very much doubt she was his only victim. I'm not defending this guy but how was law enforcement able to test his DNA from a non felony DUI arrest? Then come back for an additional DNA test to make the arrest. If they loaded his DNA into a database without him being a felon to garner evidence that is illegal and unfortunately they violated his constitutional rights. He unfortunately can get off on these charges.
Now what do people think of calls to defund the police.

Kootenai County ID is home of one of the really beautiful parts of the country - near Coeur d' Alene (coor-da-lane and koo-ten-ee county). I wouldn't be surprised if they have one that crosses counties there on the SWAT team point. The Kootenai is a native name , used a lot up in BC as well in the region in which Nelson BC is situated. Nice country. Spelled Kootenays in Canada ... my folks met there in BC post WW2.
