- In 1999 she was my favorite character. I will never forgive 2011 for how they butchered my girl even if she's "more manga accurate". She was stripped of all her Machiness: poise, mannerisms, facial expressions - the feel of her is entirely different. Not hating on the 2011 as a whole, but losing my fave is a bit annoying.

From 17:55 to 30:39 (basically the second half of the YorkShin arc) the subtitles consistently display "Chrollo" when the Troupe members are actually calling him "Danchou" meaning Leader or Boss. This is an error of the site I used to retrieve the clips.
There is a small clip I missed. It was supposed to be included between the scenes at 7:42 and 7:44. It can be found in the video I made for Shizuku. I will "hide" its timestamp in the description of that video.
Her voice also changes starting from 31:40 (the Greed Island arc) but it seems to me to be fixed in the final scene.

@@AHAAHAHHSHwell she's still close to being his crush since he is always polite with her and doesn't see her as a toy but still shows interest (literally asked her to spend night with him in the manga, but in anime they made him ask her to have a dinner with him)

Machi has always been one of the most interesting characters among the spiders and in the series as a whole. I wish she gets a chance to show us her hidden abilities just like how the others got a chance against the ants. I do like the 1999 version of Machi better but the 2011 isn't so bad either.
You know...I love both versions. But there’s something about Machi 1999 hits different, her voice is so soothing for some reasons,her appearance in 1999 looks quite sexy too...could it be because of the lipsticks ?
The art is far superior and mature. 2011 version is childish and colorized

ピンク色自体は可愛いけど、マチの髪色としては甘くなり過ぎかなと。
新ハンタではマチとネオンの髪色が旧作とは逆になってましたね…。

Machi is one of my fav character. her ability is cool and very deadly, also I can see that she's very smart and calm in battle. I just hoped they could have given more screentime. especially in Chimera ant arc

Love her. I do prefer 2011's Machi since she's more accurate in color (from what I've read) and more tomboyish in personality (how she seems to me) but I like the additional screentime she gets in this too.
I hope Hisoka winds up needing stitches in the upcoming chapters, not that she'd be sewing them for him.
There isn’t really a “correct” colour. The HxH coloured manga uses 1999 colours throughout, but many don’t consider it official. On the other hand, 2011’s colours for most characters, such as the Troupe are taken off a volume cover (12 or 13 I think). Volume covers have flashy colours and are made to attract readers, and usually are not “correctly” coloured. The same cover features a grass-green Hisoka, so yeah. In that regard, 1999 would be closer to “correct,” so to speak.
@@ashwinnair3138 I agree that the 1999 colors aren't incorrect in what they are, it's canon in its own way. Technically Machi would have light blue clothes according to the 12th volume cover and that's not in either anime... but wouldn't the 12th volume colors be more "accurate" in terms of Yoshihiro initially picking them first for the troupe? For the 36th volume cover he continued that scheme as well.
Hisoka's hair color and outfit change constantly in the covers, but that also feels like a part of his whimsical character

個人的には、浪川大輔さんのヒソカと山口勝平さんのフェイタンの方が違和感がすごくある
旅団は此れじゃなきゃ
作画の旧、声優の新だと思ってたけど旧の声もちらほら合ってるキャラ多いな。
ただ、ノブナガ役は絶対内田直哉さんの声がいいと思う笑
