    What device are you using to record this, I try use my iphone 11 but Im thinking about a microphone for my camera or if I should buy a "GoPro".

    just uploaded a video of me on 4001 from dunmurry to GVS they r great units! u can check it out if u want. t'was a race against time to catch the next bus to Eniskillen! (i live in belleek) missed the 10:30am had 2 get the 11:45 haha

    It sounds very much like the BR Class 172

      I'm pretty sure that if you took the body off from both this and the BR Class 172, they'd be nearly identical (the only significant difference being the railway gauge).

      172/4000/195/196/197 all use the same basic combination of MTU 6H 1800 Series engines with ZF Ecomat/EcoLife 6-speed gearboxes.
      The C4K could've actually been the 172 in Irish/NI gauge, which Bombardier offered, but they lost out to CAF.

    Nice video Matty why are these never used on ConnollyStation/Belfast services but the 3000 are used.

      Thanks the problem is the 4000s do not have CAWS or IE Train Radios so at present they are not allowed south of the border.

    I used to get a train from larne to York road every week day...….it took 45 minutes.....including all the hole in the hedges. the trains now are shit
