The bowl of pineapple on the kitchen counter is consistent with JonBenet wanting a snack. (The mother denied feeding the children pineapple (or any snack) after they got home and said she didn't know how the bowl of pineapple got on the counter.) I have felt for many years that the brother was involved and that the parents covered it up because they didn't want to lose their last surviving child. Great job!

I'm convinced I saw Jon Benet and her Mom once in the mall of a Midwest city of all places. Because they both stuck out SO spectacularly. They were sitting at the food court. This little blonde girl was decked out in a formal, fancy dress with a beauty contest sash, wearing a tiara that was very tall and sparkly. And makeup that wasn't little-girl makeup. The mom was a dark brunette. They were both sitting and eating something. The mom was placing the food so delicately in her mouth with this weird expression on her face that would lead you to believe they were not surrounded by other people. I can't explain it fully but it somehow made a strong impression on me. That's what struck me. You see little girls in princess dresses all the time out and about with their moms. I immediately got a sense that these two were different than that and definitely not "locals". Lol. it was so striking to me. I guess like as if a zebra had wondered into your neighborhood... Something about that momentary crossing of paths stuck in my mind. Like, "where in the world are they from and what are they doing HERE in front of Sbarro?" Lol Then later, when the news hit nationally, i immediately remembered and recognized them both. Of course, i could be wrong. Maybe they were doppelgangers, but I'm convinced. My story doesn't mean anything but... when i see her mom's picture especially, it gives me shivers to know now that she only had a short time left with her young daughter on this earth when i saw them and you NEVER know what goes on in families behind closed doors.
And if snap judgements made on first impressions are ever worth anything (and often they are) i didn't get the usual nostalgic feeling of when my daughters would insist on wearing their princess dresses everywhere... I sensed an emptiness or maybe coldness between the two and definitely a heap of ego. Like i said, they both kind of gave off this vibe like they were sitting in isolation, somehow apart from the crowd of other eaters seated around them. And actually, almost like they weren't even together themselves. Sounds weird, i know. Again, it doesn't sound very significant but for whatever reason, I'll never forget seeing them. It was definitely ODD and memorable. 💐

This is the second time I heard that Jon Benet isn't dead. When did this theory come about? I just finished hearing that she was swapped out with another little girl. And I thought "What"!! Now she got trafficked out ? How did I miss these two theory all these years.

I have always thought the brother lashed out and it accidently ended in death. The family then covered it up to save their son and reputation.

You have hit it on the nail! I have always thought this is what happened. Patsy was a beauty contestant, a winner herself. She now wanted her daughter to follow in her footsteps. There are stories that JonBonet was getting tired of it, but Patsy wanted to continue. All of this notoriety was important to Patsy. Shes a little vain in that she always wanted to look good and perfect to everyone. She always had Christmas tours of her home, was even on tv with a perfectly decorated home. I feel all her time and money was spent on JonBonet, trying to make sure she won these pagents. Therefore, not enough time was spent on her husband and definately on her son. Her son was jealous as you can understand. Everything was being done for her daughter. Any child would be jealous and eventually frustrated. Thats why they would always fight. I think in frustration, Bert hit her on the head, not because he wanted her dead, but just to maybe shut her up? He didnt mean to kill her.
Patsy comes along, and panics. She starts thinking about what this would do to her reputation and comes up with a way to cover it up. Writes the note, and everything else and sends Bert to bed. The cops did wonder why she still had on the clothes from the day before. She must have been up all night putting this all together. The next day, as soon as they could, they sent Bert away, to keep anyone from asking him any questions.
The sad thing about this is that telling the truth from the beginning would have been better for all. Bert was a child himself. I dont think he would have been arrested, but maybe counseling or such. The problem was, Patsy was a vain person and it was important to always to look good. In her eyes, this would be a tarnish of her reputation. I dont think John had anything to do with it, but found out about it. He chose to go along with the story.
Anyone who has children should know they all fight. The problem here, one was getting all the attention and the other was not being heard. Thats why we should pay attention to all of our kids and find ways to let them each know how important they are. Its sad this had to happen, but it would have been better for the family had the truth come out.
And he was deficating on her bed regularly. A sign of his hatred for her. He also appears to be autistic and I'm sure taking care of this would have tarnished their reputation.
My question would be, after the mother writing the letter, did she realize that JonBenet was still alive and she strangled her own child?

Nothing of what you said points at the Burke. She was strangled, it's not so easy to strangle someone. Not likely for 9yo to do it. There was not a single evidence against him. Long comment but lacks facts.

I have always intuitively felt that it was an accident in the home and perhaps a disagreement with her brother. It was the pineapple snack that alerted me as a piece of pineapple was found in her tummy. I felt perhaps she snatched a piece from her brother's bowl and he overreacted allegedly of course.
The Autopsy Findings report the "Fruit/Veg-LIKE Material" which "COULD resemble Pineapple" was found in her Duodenum (or Upper Small Intestine), which takes two to six hours to arrive there (likely more than 2 hours, as pineapple is rather fibrous - if it even was pineapple). The Univ. of Colorado Boulder later did studies on her intestinal contents and found there were also cherry and grape skins there too. The victim advocates (Jedamus & Morlock) are also known to have brought "bagels & Fruit" to the crime scene that morning. These Facts make me believe the bowl of pineapple is a red herring.

Patsy had been in remission from Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer for just over 9 years before it caught back up with her (in 2003) & eventually took her life in 2006. She was originally diagnosed with it in 1993. Tragic IMO
I think you’re spot on here, which means that this little girl will never get justice. They say that the mother had the same clothes on in the morning as the party the night before, I’ve always thought there was something in that. She was busy all night and didn’t go to bed and she didn’t clear up the pineapple

That’s a lot for anyone to have to live through 😢

I saw a documentary on this and the conclusion they came to was when the parents found her dead they assumed the brother did it so they were trying to cover for him. When in reality someone else did it and sexually assaulted her.

You simply blow me away -- she was very close to her mom and her life as a princess star and they traveled very often together. Bruce was left out completely. The brother took a dish of pineapple. JonBenet, light heartedly took a piece of his pineapple. He grabbed the flashlight on the counter, and hit her in the head and killed her. Then the crazy cover up begins. On the 911 call it can be heard the father saying to the son "Go to bed, remember we are not talking to you".

Yes, this is exactly what I've said for many years. The brother did it in a fit of rage, by hitting her other the head. He was known for his anger issues and his huge resentment over JonBenet. Then obviously her parents covered it up, staged it with the garrote, the ransom. Pretty sure there was an audio where someone enhanced it in the background & they were asking him what he done. He then cried asking if he was going to jail. Like you say, she didn't want to lose two children or have her public image damaged

I followed this story I think the brother was autistic Asperger’s he was spiteful to Jon Benett . Sometime before he had hit her in the head with golf club. It was suggested he was eating pineapple with milk and this was Jon Bennet favourite it was suggested she grabbed it from his bowel. Angering him and he lashed out there was a flashlight in the kitchen it’s thought she could have been hit with something heavy like the flashlight. Perhaps the mother thinking she was dead sent the brother to bed and took her to the basement and made a wire with a broken paint brush and strangled her. And then wrote the ransom note. And then went to bed and woke the father in the morning saying Jon Bennet was missing. The police were called and searched the house the brother stayed in his bed during all this he never came down or asked what happened to his sister. Even as an adult he seems totally disconnected to what happened that night. Either he doesn’t realise he caused what happened as in his mind she was hurt but in his mind alive . I think the mother was the one who covered it up because she was frightened she’d lost her. daughter she didn’t want to lose her son . Also she didn’t want to lose her standing in the community or her marriage. I don’t think the Father did know. wether he believes his son was involved now I wouldn’t like to say. But he did suffer he lost his business because of people believing he was involved in a cover up. So in some ways the very thing the mother feared did happen. And I don’t think her remaining years were happy she died relatively young herself. I think the father protects the brother because he is Asperger’s I don’t think the brother realises the chain of events he set in motion that night. But I do think the mother covered it up. I just don’t understand why the police didn’t search the basement and find her. Perhaps if they had of done and she’d of been left in situ the case would have been solved. The father on finding her brought up to the living room I think he may have removed what was round her neck trying to revive her in doing so he compromised evidence unknowingly.
Justice should come to him regardless even after all these years.
I am so confused, every psychic has a different scenario of what happened to her. I have always felt that the parents weren’t involved because of the pageants. Parents aren’t going to dedicate all that time and money to pageants to harm their child. But this makes sense and it’s so sad. I grew up with brothers and one acted like he was going to punch me and did in the lip, and acted like he was going to stab me with scissors and did above the eye.

Well he kinda did but did harm her enough that his Mom had ti step in and take it from there! Wow I guess! half moon claw marks on her neck around the garrote would unfortunately indicate she was very much alive & alert for that part of her demise 😔8-10 cc of blood (less than a teaspoon and a half) would indicate that the head injury likely happened last. But that is just what the actual evidence shows.
The mom was also wearing the same outfit she had on from the previous night. Which friends said she never did. So much made me believe it was within the home.

There was a heavy flashlight in the kitchen that allegedly fit the head wound. Brother lost it- just 1 bowl in counter, not 2.

Unidentified male dna found on her clothing in 3 separate areas and under her fingernails, substance found in her small intestine consistent with what is found in fruit cocktail- ie grape skins, pineapple etc NOT just pineapple. Cause of death was strangulation combined with skull fracture. So little blood in cranium as stated in autopsy suggests head blow came after strangulation. She was sexually assaulted which resulted in blood in her underwear which was mixed with the unidentified male dna.
Why would a mother not call 911 to try and save her child if it was an ‘accident’? But instead stage an elaborate scene which included sexually assaulting her own daughter and strangling her to death. Ludicrous

It was a brother but not Burke. Her half brother. Burke was interviewed multiple times without even his parents knowing. At 9 yo never gave any evidence of anything regarding the killing. They said there was evidence that JonBenet was sexually abused even before the murder. So was it John Ramsey? Was it Burke Ramsey? Please don't tell me they were sex trafficking her. Not true!
The only thing I find hard to understand is how Burke would have had the strength to crash her skull in such a force that the autopsy revealed. They've done research on this and said it was impossible for his weight.
If there were high standing stools in kitchen and hard tiled floors it would be easy to crack a skull on by being pushed off. Have you ever seen a child fall from a shopping cart?
It is said that the force required to do that damage to her skull would have been equal to falling off a 3 story building or enough force to take down a 300 lb man. Burke was a puny little 9 year old boy, he would not have been able to have done that to her. Plus there were half-moon claw marks on her neck around the garrote, indicating unfortunately she was very much alive during that 😔, & there was only 7-8 cc (less than a teaspoon and a half) of blood on her skull, indicating the head injury likely happened Last. This was a vicious attack by a very cruel man that was out to cause harm to her father John and he was very successful in that.
I remember several Detectives saying they believed that the blunt force trauma to her head could have been caused from a military grade type flashlight that they had found in the kitchen…. Which makes me think maybe he was super pissed that JonBenet was eating the last of the pineapple and after how annoyed he was all day with her he just snapped .. who knows
@@danihopezim1122 The Mag-Lite brand flashlight found on the kitchen counter-top could have been what cause that head injury, there was also a black baseball bat found on the North side of the home (with a fabric from the basement carpet found on it) that could have caused that injury also. Unfortunately no one really knows.

I knew one of them did it. Why would someone "break in," kill her and leave a ransom note when she's in the house? It didnt make sense. This does. Even though he was young and it was probably accidentally, they really should of got him some help.

The garrote was fashioned over top of her body (as her hair was In the knots), with Patsy's broken paintbrush, and the still unsourced "para-cord". I believe he would have been wearing a pair of Hi-Tec Boots (as those prints were never sourced either), had a stun gun with him and likely looked similar to JonBenét's older half-brother John Andrew Ramsey as that is what the neighbor eyewitnessed (not JAR though, he was confirmed to have been just outside of Atlanta at the time visiting his mother). But that appears to be "Who (actually) did that to her" !!!
A long letter not to call the police was written. The letter itself was suspicious, the amount of money John was getting was suggested as a ransom, & not to call the police.
Some believe the mom was jealous of her, Bedwetting was a problem from what I read. Until this day, the cases still isn't solved.

Both parents were exonerated by Boulder D.A. Mary Lacy in 2008. There were stun-gun marks on JonBenét's side and cheek, yet the Ramseys Never owned a stun-gun. The parents were both Very intelligent people and likely would have done a much better job covering things up, however they had absolutely Nothing to do with this crime.
Wiped clean too, even the batteries, definitely suspect.
