- Firefighters Just before10am this morning to a fire at Papa's Fish & Chips, they quickly brought the fire under control with use of an Ariel ladder platform, firefighters were also seen climbing the scaffolding whilst it was still at blaze.
We’d like to thank our brave firefighters for all the do in our town.

Hi Paul. Another fire in Blackpool. This is keeping the firemen busy. You always seem to be in the right place at the right time. maybe the workers forgot to turn the chip fryer off. The weather looks gorgeous. Have a great weekend 👍🐈❤️

What’s going on with these fires in Blackpool 💀
Seems to be a lot latley all over Blackpool, I have never known this many in the recent weeks, hope all is well? and take care Paul.
There might be a pyromaniac on the loose in blackpool targeting large buildings.That is a lot of fires in a short space of time. 🤔

On the odd occasion we get thunder. We are next to Death Valley. Our average is four inches of rain per year. We are surrounded by mountains which catch the rain , that causes flooding on the road to Vegas, sometimes washing the road out. That's about every three years. A little different from living in Blackpool.
Have lived in Florida and North and South Carolina as well. Experienced hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes.
