- (Part Two) In today's video it's our Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas which is Royal Caribbean's private island! We start the morning with grabbing some Starbucks before disembarking the ship. I also got to have my very first look at Utopia of the Seas and that is Royal Caribbean's newest ship. On the island we enjoyed snorkeling, food, the sun and most importantly relaxing! Once we got back onboard it was time for dinner at Izumi for sushi which I highly recommend. Finally, after exploring more of the ship I decided to put the camera down to enjoy some family time before calling it a night. A tip on what to use for a sunburn from a true redhead. A&D Ointment. You will be amazed at how fast the sunburn goes away. It is greasy so use a light coat and with older sleep wear.

Highly recommend "Sun Bum original sunscreen spray SPF 50"!!!! I am a very pale girl & burn easily and quickly. I was able to apply for a 6 hour amount of time outside in the bright Central Florida sun. I only got a little color, but not a burn!! 😎😁

Took my first RC cruise last week on Adventure Of The Seas! I loved CoCoCay! I have the meanest tan line but I had such great day on that island. I cant wait to go back!

A really awesome video Dev! If you happen to see this, would you tell me if going on a solo cruise on one of these ships would be advisable as far as stuff to do, places to relax etc? I know to each their own about solo travel and I’ve done it a bunch especially to Disney but I’ve never cruised before just curious your thoughts if you see this and have time to answer! I always see meet ups and activities for solo cruisers on the daily guide. There are so many different places to relax around the ship. We didn’t even make it to the spa this time but that’s a good place to chill.

I too live in my gym clothes so it’s nice to style it up when on vaca, you look very sunburned , have y’all tried the blue aloe gel , so soothing with the menthol in it to take that pain away . I enjoyed this vid as usual. Just FYI, if you buy a bottle of sake at a Japanese restaurant, the majority of the restaurants will let you take it home. This has happened to me several times. Same thing applies to wine bottles at a fine dining restaurant. One of my fav restaurants will vacuum seal the bottle off for you before you leave.
I was looking at the utopia October trip as well! That is the week of our anniversary so we wanted to do something fun! I just had no idea Utopia was the newest ship!
My mom and I went to coco cay last year and we didn’t get sunny weather but we managed to stay by the pool area and it was so windy
I love the ship models. I found a harmony of the seas one at goodwill for $5 and sold it for $100 that night :p
@7:16 there are two other places on Perfect Day at CocoCay where you can get the crispy chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks...another Snack Shack in the Thrill Waterpark and Hideaway Hut in Hideaway Beach.

It’s been about 18 years maybe, but Coco Cay was the best day we had too. We snorkeled out into the ocean, drank Coco Locos (too many), and had such a beautiful day together. Edit: there was a food shack and a beach. That was it. 😊

Did you purchase any excursions? Was the snorkel part of an excursion package or were you able to do that separately?
We didn’t purchase any shore excursions this cruise because it was a shorter sailing. The snorkeling is free if you bring your own equipment if not it’s $40 per person.
So beautiful but I've never cruised. I'm single. Can you talk about costs as you go along? You say paid in advance for meals. I thought cruising was all inclusive?

There's specialty restaurants onboard as well. You can pre-purchase before or buy onboard! Yes...plenty of free food as well :)

Towels are free - you have to make sure you return them.
